BELLAMY:

I heard Octavia's words replay in my mind over and over again. I can't believe she expected me to give up. On Clarke. What was she thinking?

I yelled for Wilim. He came in, holding a gun in his hand and asked "What is it?"

"Help me up" I said determined.

He looked at me doubtfully.

"Eeh...are you sure?" he asked with raised eyebrows. I stared back at him with a look that made sure I would put him through hell if he didn't help me. So he moved over to where I sat and helped me to my feet or..my foot.

"Now what?" He asked stupid, like I just wanted to stand for a few minutes.

"Now, we go find Clarke" I said determined. He looked at me, startled and confused while I tested out how much pressure I could lay on my foot before the pain became unbearable, which wasn't much. But nothing in the world would make me give up the hope that Clarke was alive and fine, just waiting for me to find her. And I would.

"What the hell are you doing?!" Octavia questioned from the door way, looking at me with disbelief.

"What does it look like I'm doing?" I asked.

"It looks like you're being an idiot! Seriously Bell! Can't you just listen once in a while?!" She raised her voice frustrated.

"Nobody's doing anything, Octavia! I can't just lay here anymore, knowing she's out there and no one's doing shit about it!!" I yelled back, seeing Wilim backing slowly out of the tent.

"Bell...," she said silently.

"Your coming with me or not?" I interrupted her as I started packing my backpack.

"Clarke's dead.." she said quiet and closed her eyes.

"No, she's not" I turned to face her angrily. why would she even say that?!

"Yes, she is. The search party got back and they found her. Well, wh-what was left anyways..." she explained with a tearful voice.

"What was LEFT of her?!"

"They'd burned her..:"

"So what they really found was a skeleton, who could have been anyone?"

"Exact height, and her clothes beside it..." she touched my shoulder gentle but I brushed her off.

I stumbled out of my tent, dragging my broken leg after me as fast as I could. The pain was constant and dreadful, but I could handle it. I saw a crowd of people had gathered in the main square and walked/limped over there. I looked down at what they all were staring at. All of their eyes shifted to me to catch my reaction as I saw the skeleton of the person I loved. They all looked sad and compassionately at me, remembering the moment only days ago when I told her I loved her in front of everybody. There was no way in hell this was Clarke. I turned again to find a worried Octavia standing right behind me. "Bellamy, I'm so sorry!".

"It's not her" I answered, ready to leave.

"BELLAMY! WAKE UP! I know it's hard, but she's gone, okay? It's not like she was immune to death! It happens to all of us!"

"Oh hell, you really don't get it do you?" I started, sounding given. "Why would they want Clarke, to then just kill her off a few days later? Huh? They knew we would find this," I said, pointing at the skeleton. "They knew we would find it and assume the worst." Everybody was looking at me. Most of them sad. Others surprised. I started limping slowly towards the gates when Octavia grabbed my hands, begging me to give in with her eyes.

"IT'S. NOT. HER!" I said firmly

"FINE! It's not! We'll send out more people looking, but you're not going to be one of them!" She stated and looked exhausted, rubbing her forehead. I nodded and agreed. I knew that me tagging along would slow them down and only be a burden.

CLARKE:

I hadn't been feed in two days. I was definitely being punished. My body ached. Not only because of the damage but I think it ached for Bellamy as well. I closed my eyes and remembered his scream in pain. My heart shattered for him and the pain he felt. Then suddenly I heard someone fumbling with the lock.

If you die, I die. If you die, I die. If you die, I die. I kept repeating to myself silently as I felt a shadow moving towards me. "Just kill me already" I said silently.

"I did not break the rules to come and kill you!" A female voice whispered. She loosened the rope around my hands and looked at me with a rebellious smile. She looked like she was younger than me. Maybe 15 or 16. I looked shocked relieved as she said;

"Ready to run?"
