a/n: more of Tyler's memories at the bottom, again might be triggering.

Josh's eyes opened and he rubbed his face, trying to wake up. The sun was shining brightly through the living room windows. He felt a pressure on his chest and looked down, his heart warming at the sight.

Tyler had fallen asleep on top of him on the couch, his nimble fingers clutching the fabric of his shirt loosely. Josh ran his fingers through Tyler's hair gently, just admiring the beauty asleep in front of him. The brunette slowly woke up and realized he was nuzzled against Josh. He looked around before recognizing where he was.

"Morning Josh." Tyler yawned and crawled off of the bright haired man, walking towards the kitchen. He stretched before slipping out easily from Josh's grip.

Josh frowned. Tyler wasn't in his little space anymore. Instead that hard wall was up, refusing to let anyone in.

"I gotta go to a meeting in...shit what time is it?" Josh said suddenly sitting up and grabbing his phone. He sighed when he saw he still had an hour and half.

"Cool. Can you drop me off at my house?" Tyler asked, eating a bowl of cereal. Josh's heart sank.

"You sure?" Josh asked and Tyler nodded.

"I'm good now. Sorry for getting all weird and mushy on you last night." Tyler said and finished off his cereal.

"It really wasn't a problem Tyler." Josh said getting up and going to the kitchen. He watched the brunette clean out his bowl before he turned around and looked at Josh.

A few beats of silence.

"What?" Tyler said and Josh just shrugged. He's the one who suggested no labels, so he had no right to feel this way.

"I don't know. Get your stuff while I get ready." Josh said and Tyler nodded, following the bright haired man into his bedroom. He began picking up his clothes before folding them, holding them close to his chest. Tyler couldn't help but watch as Josh stripped, a small tingle of desire blooming in his stomach.

Josh ignored the stares as he got ready, dressing in his suit before grabbing a medium briefcase. "You ready?" He said.

Tyler nodded before following Josh outside, only slipping on his black skinny jeans before they went out the door. He was still dressed in the red basketball jersey.

The ride was quiet when he pulled up to Tyler's apartment. They sat there for a minute before they both glanced at one another at the same time. The tension was thick but neither of them were sure how to break it.

"I'm sorry I'm broken." Tyler murmured suddenly. Josh's eyes widened when he realized Tyler must have heard him last night. Without thinking Josh leaned over and captured Tyler's mouth in a passionate kiss. It was filled with all the words he wanted to say, the main one being love.

"We'll fix you. Piece by piece." Josh said after pulling away, cupping Tyler's chin and stroking his thumb across his cheek.

"It's gonna take time." Tyler said worriedly and Josh smiled.

"Well good thing time is all I have." The bright haired man said giving Tyler a soft kiss on the cheek before he got out.

Tyler felt like complete and utter crap. He wasn't at his regular spot tonight, which was usually the parking deck. No, Tyler had opted for walking around the running trail that was behind the local hospital. It was well hidden and filled with shadows. He figured there wouldn't be anybody there.
