CHANGING MY SCHOOL COURSE

0900

LOCATION- PLUTO, GAYLORD ACADEMY

-

I stared at the form in front of me. My pen was hovering in the air under my fingers as I contemplated on whether to sign or not. The office woman sat in front of me, a slight look of awe in her eyes as she waited. She didn't rush me. By signing this I felt the bond I had with Andrew almost become non-existent.

I had spent a few hours last night next to his empty grave, thinking why it was empty. Nothing about the situation added up, yet I could see with my eyes it was empty.

I gripped the pen tighter and sighed.

'What are you doing,' Ty asked. I bit my lip, knowing that all my emotions were all over the place right now.

'I have to sign my course over,' I said and then opened my mind to Ty, so he could see for himself. The clear written words had Ty understand faster than I could explain.

'They're forcing you to change your course now,' he asked.

'Yeah.'

I lowered the pen and then finally signed my name at the bottom. I was now going to be taking Royal studies and not Law. I sighed and pushed the paper to the women.

"Thank you," she said, "Your information will remain confidential and I hope you have a good year."

I nodded and was to turn away when she continued, "Your teachers who will want to meet you today, will be stationed at room 300 next to the Whitburn wall."

I nodded and turned away again when a familiar buzzing echoed in my head. My phone in my back pocket vibrated as I tried to find who was calling me.

Marine.

I sighed and fished for my phone, holding it to my ear, "Yes, Marine."

The queen's voice was wary as she responded, "where are you."

"At school, just changed my course."

There was a silence in the air before she responded, "Tonight there is a dinner which I need you to attend."

"You told me; I wouldn't have to attend any more of these situations."

"I know, but this one is important, it is to tell the minister that you will not become queen till my death."

"I must attend," I sighed.

"Yes." I sighed and then nodded, telling her I would attend. As soon as I put the phone down, a wild idea crossed my head. I started planning how I could shock the ministers the most.

As I reached room 300, my head was up in the clouds planning a daring dress and black lipstick to make me look most un-royal. I grinned as I knocked on the door and opened it.

As I entered, five teachers stood and then bowed. I nodded at them and smiled, "hello, I am Sapphire West."

"We are aware," a man said. He was old, definitely more than sixty and he had a warmth about him that I liked.

"I am Sir Huston," he said, "I will not be teaching you this year, classes with me will begin in your fourth year."

"Okay," I said uncertainly and then looked to the next women.

"I am Lady Hestai," she smiled, "I will be teaching you everything related to elegance and poise."

I raised a brow and looked away. I did not care for this.
