DAY FOUR

LOCATION- EARTH, EGYPT, CAIRO

-

"Take it up with the Queen," I said listening to all of them complaining about the heat. Their skin wasn't sensitive to the sun like mine and you didn't hear me complaining.

"What's the plan," Michael asked.

"Die in the heat dramatically and rot away for our parents to find 10 years later," Eli groaned fanning his shirt out.

"No really," Michael said.

"Stupid, lame-ass car," Eli cursed bending down and rubbing his knee in pain. I snickered from behind him. He was bound to get hurt the way he was walking, swaggering slightly, his hands and legs moving in opposite directions. The glare of the sun had dimmed our spirits completely and none of us were talking to each other.

Jaz caught my eye and nodded towards the car, I stared at her, confusion spreading across my face. She re-glanced at the car again, a wide cheeky smile plastered onto her face.

"What are you thinking," Alex asked seeing the facial expression exchange between us. Realisation hit me and Jaz nodded as I smiled. It was the only good idea, that we'd come up with so far.

"Why don't we jump a ride on a truck," Jaz asked the boys. I turned around to see their reaction.

"I've always wanted to that, it makes me look cooler," Ty grinned bobbing his head up and down. Michael nodded slowly, probably overthinking the idea. Eli rolled his eyes and nodded, then turning to Ty remarked.

"You've got great confidence boy, but I haven't seen any fans of yours, famous boy."

"Jealous much," Ty replied. Eli opened his mouth to respond, when Alex hit him across the arm.

"Shut up," she glared as Eli looked at her innocently.

"So your idea is," Michael drawled, "To listen to some random dude that told where the next clue is and then you're going to steal a truck and go all the way to Italy, which is like a million miles away and just assume that what the person said was the truth." I looked at him slowly, the way he said it did make it sound really irrational. But did we really have any other choice.

No.

"That is exactly what we are going to do," I smiled at him.

"I'm up for it," he replied, his normal boyish grin returning to his face. Whatever other people might say about Michael, we knew that he wasn't really that of a bad boy. He was sensible but he did have that cheeky spirit. I turned around as a girl walked up to us.

"You iz Tyler Allen, me iz the fan, me iz wanting sign from you," a girl said coming up to us and grinning. Ty took the pen from the girl and then turned around dramatically and smirked at Eli, his expression smug.

"Of course," he said signing his name on a paper she gave him.

"Hey," I asked, "Do you know where a cargo shipment would be." She stared at me for a second and I prayed she wouldn't recognise me. she shook her head unconsciously and pointed behind us.

"Cargo iz there, that iz ze back of it, very hard to get into ze place," she said. I nodded and got ready to leave.

"Iz you not, ze daughter of Gisselle west," she asked. I nodded meekly, "Your mozer iz very pretty."

"Thank you," I said, "But we need to hurry."

"Why do you need cargo," Ty asked looking at me.

"We're going to find a truck to Italy from there," I said starting to walk away. towards the cargo. Jaz moved next to me and linked arms with me, I smiled at her. Michael, Ty and Eli started talking to each other.
