"Sapphire Western."

"Hmm," I replied unconsciously, turning around, my eyebrows furrowed, "Do I know."

"Your mother asked me to give this to you," he whispered.

"Thank you," I said taking the note from his hand. Sighing I pushed my hair back, today had been one of the longest days ever and I couldn't wait to go home and sleep. I opened the note, once the figure had disappeared.

The palace has some special guest, go stay at one of your friend's houses. – mother

I looked away from the note, my eyes drooping, how great, I'll just go sleep at Jaz's house. I walked in silence to my next class, creature defence.

"Sapphire Western," a girl said coming in front of me. Why does everybody use my last name?

"Yes," I said.

"How did an amateur like you end up getting picked for the venatio," she asked. I shifted in my position and glared at her, my mood was terrible, and I honestly could not deal with anyone anymore.

"Do I know you," I asked, she looked at me like I was dumb. I got my phone and took a picture of the blonde in front of me and send it to Jaz. Who is she, I texted?

"What are you doing," she asked.

"Asking the doctor, if you're an escapee," I replied bored, she looked at me angrily.

"I'm asking my friend who knows everyone, if she knows who you are," I said waiting for Jaz's reply.

"That won't be necessary, I'm Lia Vang," she said waiting for my response, dramatically posing.

"Oh, you're her," I said, umm who was she, "Wait, I have no idea who you are." She sighed.

"Back to my question, did your mother get you into the position for the search or did your dad, oh, wait, your dad's dead," she said smiling. I looked at her, how does she know.

"What," I asked like she was delusional.

"Oh, come on, Queen Marine must be a really good mother, right, giving her daughter whatever, she wants." I smiled at her, a crowd had started to form, and a few people gaped at me.

"Are you the daughter that your father died for," she asked.

"Okay, now you're not making any sense, what are you talking about," I said trying to playthings off.

"Keep saying that, we all know that I'm saying the truth."

"And they would believe you, because what you're an honest person," I asked raising my eyebrow. She looked and laughed.

"Okay, I'm done," I say trying to walk out.

"Aww, come on just admit the fact," she said, I turned around and gritted my teeth.

"Look, I've had a long day and I'm so tired and I can't deal with this bullshit and you accusing me of having some royal family as my family is not helping, so please get lost and leave me alone," I said to her.

"So, you're not going to admit that daddy King died to protect his precious daughter," she sneered. I growled lightly at her tempted to chop her neck off with the dagger in my back pocket.

"That is exactly what I'm not going to admit," I said.

"Enough, none of you will remember what Lia Vang said, now scatter," a boy said from the crowd, I looked at him closely, but realised he was covering his face. He looked at Lia, his back facing me. His voice was sickly smooth as he talked and the people in the room immediately listened.
