DAY TWO

2043 HOURS

LOCATION- EARTH, CAIRO, EGYPT

-

We were still in Cairo airport, people bustled around us speaking in Arabic, which according to Michael was their language. It seemed really cool that people spoke different languages and we were all equally shocked when Ty said there were about 6500 languages which are spoken.

"So, there's two places we can go," Alex said breaking me from my thoughts, they all looked at me expectantly.

"Ah, yeah, there is the museum in Cairo and the tomb, these two places are related to Tutankhamen."

"But why bother, to go to the museum," Jaz asked her tone patronizing.

"Because, all of the things in his tomb are carried from there to the museum, so if you had to find an instrument, it would be probably there."

"Yeah, that makes sense," Michael said.

"Plus isn't the tomb closed, right now or something," Ty said. I nodded.

"So, where do we go," Eli asked motioning me to carry on. I smiled and thought about it.

"To the museum," I said.

"Why not the tomb, it has more likeliness of being related to this man," Michael asked.

"Because, we are on earth, not at home, and there are laws and regulations here and we need to abide by them," I said, feeling confused as I saw Jaz rolling her eyes from the corner of my sight.

"Also, we need to cover all our bases and thus it is better we go there then."

"But-" Michael said and stopped as Alex waked him across his head. I smiled at her gratefully and turned my head towards Jaz, but she wasn't there.

"Hey, where's Jasmine," Ty asked me. There was something wrong with her. If anyone calls Jaz, Jasmine, she'll have their head, but she didn't seem to care right now. I shrugged.

"Where we going, Sapphire," she asked.

"I'm here," she yelled talking to a cab driver. Ty looked at me and shook his head, there was something wrong with her. If anyone calls Jaz, Jasmine, she'll have their head, but she didn't seem to care right now. I shrugged.

"Where we going, Sapphire," she asked.

"Cairo Museum," I said. She nodded and continued talking to the cab driver, I moved closer to see how she was talking so easily in a foreign country. And then I understood she was speaking in Arabic, very fluent Arabic.

"Come in," Alex said opening the door. I waited for everyone to go in, then got in last. While Jaz went and sit in the front with the driver.

It wasn't far, from the airport. But the beauty of the country was absolutely stunning, it was nothing like home. Sand dunes stopped the area and the strong smell of gas filled the air. The sun was bursting with warmth and I could barely open my eyes due to light. But despite all its problems, the earth really did have a lot of beauty.

He stopped the car and rolled his windows down and looked back and said, "Nahnu hina." I stared at him, clueless.

"He says we're here," Alex said looking at me. I glanced at her, she shook her head and smiled.

"She went through a mundane language obsession," Michael explained.

"Okay, asked him how much," I said to her, the fact that Alex had an idea made sense, because she went through a phrase but Jaz, we knew her perfectly, she had no interest in their languages.
