It was a nice walk to school that morning; Juggie kept saying sweet things to Betty and making her laugh, (one of the many reasons she loves him) although, all the giggling, she had to admit, didn't help with her headache but she didn't say anything so as to not concern Jughead. They walked into the high school and headed straight for the main 'common room' where they met Archie and Veronica every morning, but the second Betty entered the nearly vacant room, she was almost knocked aback by all the pain that rushed to her head, her first instinct was to dig her face into her boyfriends shoulder and embrace him. Although he was slightly confused by what Betty had done, he wrapped his arms around her and started to rub her back as their two best friends approached them. "Morning guys, um is Betty okay?" said Veronica in a curious tone "Yeah she doesn't look to great Jug" said Archie from behind, "She told me she had a headache but I didn't think it was this bad" Betty could hear the concern in his voice but kept her head buried in his shoulder. He brought his voice to a whisper only Betty could hear- "Hey baby are you sure you're okay? You don't want me to take you home?" - "No" Betty whispered back, content on making it through the day. The first period bell then rang and everyone made to part ways, but before doing so Jughead kissed his girlfriend on the forehead and told her that if her headache got worse, to text him and he would take her home.
