Betty's eyes began to slowly float open, the room she was in was bleak and rather cold, her head didn't hurt as bad and she wasn't hungry anymore, but then Betty realized where she was, a hospital room. There was an IV stuck in her right arm, a breathing mask over her nose and mouth, and something appeared to be stuck to her stomach. Betty went to move the mask but was stopped by a gentle grip. It was Jughead. "You're awake Betts thank god, how are you feeling" he said quietly, Jug tried to hide it but Betty could hear the pain behind his voice. "I'm fine don't worry about me Juggie" she breathed, "Go home and sleep" Betty finished. "Betty I worry about you when you're walking across a street let alone when you're in a hospital bed, I'm not going anywhere" he said back to her with a nervous smile. "Now, I don't want you to push yourself Betts, but is there something you want to tell me" Jug looked sincere and Betty knew exactly what he was talking about, but then she heard a sniffle out of the corner of the room and looked over to see her best friend sitting in Archie's lap, crying. "V" Betty called softly "Archie, what are you doing here" she questioned them "what do you mean Betty, you're in a hospital of course we are here" Archie said as he and Veronica made there ways to the other side of her bed. "But its late we have school tomorrow" Betty said quietly, "No Betty. Jug, Veronica, and I have school tomorrow, you are not leaving this bed" Archie said back "And anyways, we don't actually have school tomorrow" Archie saw the lost look on Betty's face and continued "It's Friday" this confused Betty even more "Wait, what do you mean it's Friday" she saw a flinch of panic behind Jug's eyes and he grabbed her hand "Betts, you've been asleep for two days" he whispered, this sent Betty into a state of shock, she didn't understand how a simple migraine and not eating for a few days could knock someone out for two days. "The doctors tried to contact your parents but they weren't answering" Archie said, "That's because they went on the journalist retreat remember" Betty whispered as she shifted over. "B I'm so sorry" it was Veronica, she was still crying. Betty looked over at Jughead and gave him a look, and he knew exactly what she meant, "We'll be right outside" He whispered as he kissed her forehead and left the room with Archie.
