"Betts, Betty?" I looked up and saw an angry old women leaning out of the window. "Dammit Betts wake up, you have to be okay, we have to go, I have to protect you!" I started to panic unsure of what to do in this moment. For all I know my pregnant girlfriend just jumped out of a three story building and could be seriously hurt right now. I pushed at her one more time and with a last bit of luck she started to stir and her eyes fluttered open. "Betts! Thank god, we have to go now baby" I started as I scooped the weak blonde into my arms. No one in this god for Saken town gives two craps anymore. Once something gets away from them, they stop trying to get it back. Usually I'd be against the act, but in this case, I'm glad to get Betty away without a fight. I walked as far as I could from the building and stopped at a nearby bench. knowing I couldn't get Betty home by myself, I called Archie to pick us up. A few minutes later a rusty truck pulled up in front of us and I hopped in the back seat, keeping Betty on my lap. "What the hell happened Jug" Archie questions. "Long story short, Betty's awful parents threw her in that dungeon and now I can't take her home" I sighed. Archie just shrugged, "well of course you can" I looked at him dumbfounded. "Wow has the hair dye gone to your brain archibald, I can't take her home, the devil incarnates will just throw her back in that prison" I snapped. " 1. I don't dye my hair 2. Don't call me archibald and 3. Haven't you heard? The coopers left, moved out and left the house in Betty's name for when the release her." He stated. "So I can just take her home and stay in the house with her, seeing as no one will even bother to come after her" I started to catch on. "Excactly" Archie said "it's kinda crazy how not even the police care to keep people in lines these days", "this town is going to hell" I agreed. Betty stirred on my lap and I focused my gaze back to the sleeping blonde. "Hey Betty, were almost home baby, just hold on" I whispered to her. When we made it back to the Cooper residence, Archie pulled the spare key out from the third pot of lili flowers on the porch. "Betty always loved lili's" Archie smiled, unlocking the big doors. We stepped inside and I immediately felt at home. Knowing I would be staying here alone with Betty was enough to make my heart beat 100x faster. Damn I'm so in love with this girl.
