A few days later Betty woke up as Jug came running into her hospital room, a huge smile on his face, oh how much she loved his smile. "Hey you, what's got you all smiley" Betty giggled as he came around, sat on her bed and pressed his soft lips to hers "You, my fair lady are being discharged today" she smiled with relief as Jughead wrapped his arms around her. Betty was over the moon, she was sick of sitting in this room day in and out waiting for her boyfriend to get back from school, she missed him even if he was only gone for a few hours. "Oh that's great Juggie I cant wait to get back to school!" Jughead went quiet "Uh, about that Betty" he looked up at her "I think that maybe..." he stopped "What Juggie" Betty pushed on "I think that you should quit the River Vixens" Jug looked up at her, Betty froze. "But Jug I worked so hard to make the team and it looks so good on my college application, and, well, I enjoy it" Jughead looked back at the ground and she knew his exact reasons for suggesting this "But Betts, the Vixens are the whole reason you are siting in this bed right now, I cant let them hurt you again" – "Juggie I know but" Jughead cut her off "I almost lost you once Betty, I'm not going to lose you again" his eyes glossed over. "Okay" Betty said grabbing his hands as he looked up at her "I'll quit".
