Betty jolted upwards, shaking, her body felt weak but all she could focus on was the searing pain around her stiches. She reached down and pulled up her shirt to see that her skin was peeling and bruised around the large gauze, which meant it had to be even worse underneath it. She was going to throw up, she felt it coming and knew she had to get to the bathroom down the hall, Betty pushed herself up with everything in her, trying not to wake her boyfriend, she limped as fast as she could, holding the wall so tight her knuckles turned white, she was crying now, the pain was unbearable. With everything left in her she ran the rest of the way to the bathroom and collapsed over the toilet throwing up everything she had eaten over the last twenty-four hours, she put her hand over her stiches to feel a warm, thick substance, she looked down and there was blood everywhere, all over the floor. Betty was sobbing and throwing up at the same time, this was all too much for her, she felt herself losing conciseness, and she had to call her boyfriend. So Betty used every last fiber of energy she had left and called Jug's name, praying he would hear her and get help.
