Mercy.
A word that could not describe the demon known throughout the Demon world and the Human world, only known to others as Suga.
Mercy.
The word sounded so foreign to him, like it was from a language he never knew existed. It wasn't that he didn't know it, it just seemed that he had not a speck of mercy within his demon body. He's slaughtered countless beings, human or demon. As long as one stood in his path, he would eliminate them entirely.
The thing is, no one could confirm his existence. He's only been mentioned in rumors in the Demon world, and scary Halloween stories in the Human world. Because the only ones who have encountered him in person are all dead.
To take things further, even the Demon world's existence is a question to the Human world. They live side-by-side as parallel universes, but demons often kill humans for their blood. Much like vampires, human blood is a crucial part in demon survival. A demon requires a least 4 vials of blood a month, most easily satiated by human blood. Thus resulted in mysterious murders from a single shot straight through the heart. A human's death can lead to the birth of a demon, if the soul of the human is corrupted.
Excess blood is stored in a demon's heart, which is made of glass. Hollow and roomy, up to 15 vials of blood can be stored within a demon. Though when desperate times come, demons may resort to the killing of their own kind and stealing their heart, merging it with their own. Doing so transfers the blood stored in one heart to the one in possession.
Suga, however, was a different case. His heart was abnormally big, most likely from a mutation when he became a demon. His heart, often filled completely with blood, can contain up to 45 vials.
Suga is, in fact, abnormal. From his heart to his humanesque body, there is no doubt he is not fully transformed. He is a Demi. A halfblood who lives on the line that separates the Humans from the Demons. His body is contaminated by demon blood, which corrupts the human body. His left shoulder is a deep crimson color, vein-like streaks gripping it like a vine. He also has a mark on his nape, an emblem embedded into his skin—the mark of a demon.
Demi's are extremely rare. It is not often a Demi appears into the world. And it is not often they are accepted. Therefore, Suga is a loner. A solo hunter who destroys everyone in his path. Having not been able to feel emotions since the moment he was born, he will shred anyone, friend or foe, to pieces if they pose a threat.
Demi's are the most formidable species known. Due to the fact they can roam the Human world as a human visually, they have many chances and opportunities to get some human blood under their belt.
Suga's always been fast—his victims are dead in the blink of an eye. Nothing may ever change that. He's always thought emotions would never break him. That is, until he met you.
