He was on your mind. Constantly. Love sick? Infatuation? Those were the terms people often associated with being... obsessed, if you will, with someone. But for you, it was a different case. It was interest. Curiosity. Those were the terms that you believed accurately described your feelings toward that man. The unknown nagged at you, and it taunted you every passing day that he had disappeared.
Yes, disappeared.
It'd been a week since you'd seen any trace of him. Of course, it was to be expected, seeing as the two of you were complete strangers. But what didn't make sense was how you'd had, what, five or so consecutive encounters, and then all of a sudden he's gone. It may not seem as strange to other as it did to you, but others don't know what happened. Think about it. He had caught you staring at him, and the next day walks into the coffee shop you were at and takes the seat across from you and straight up asks, "why were you staring at me?". Then consider this - he stands up and leaves as you ask his name, basically beckons you to follow with his gaze and leads you down an alleyway, only to mutter a "don't follow me" when he practically told you to with his eyes. Then he collapses and disappears at some time around six in the morning after you graciously shelter him in the home you share with Taehyung.
Then the encounter with the dead body. And then the encounter with him shortly after.
Things aren't falling in place, and it's confusing you. Your mind is preoccupied with thoughts of him, the stranger with the piercing eyes and mysterious aura. Were you crazy for suspecting he wasn't an average human, if he was human at all? Perhaps. But many musicians are at least a little crazy in the head, aren't they? Tchaikovsky, Schumann, just to name a few. They had their beliefs, such as how Tchaikovsky sometimes thought his head would fall off when he conducted, just as you believed that demons and non-human beings could exist. Something you were sure of though? This definitely won't be the last time you see him.

"I'm tired."
"Aren't you always tired?"
"No, I'm tired of being tired, you fucking idiot."
"Wow okay, no need to be so passive aggressive and sarcastic, Suga."
"Shut the fuck up, Hoseok, I didn't ask to be here," Suga hissed.
Hoseok was a demon. A regular demon with just a faint trace of Demi in him, the faintest red corruption of his shoulder proving that. The two were... acquaintances.
"So, where exactly are we going?"
"Uh..."
"Are you kidding me? You talked me into this and you don't even fucking know where we are yourself."
"W-well," Hoseok mumbles, "I do have an idea, but it's a little... far-fetched?"
Suga takes a deep breath, trying to resist the urge to punch the demon in the face. "What is it. Spit it out," he growls, glaring at the younger male.
Hoseok's face pales, and he stumbles on his words. "I-it's a myth. It's supposed to be a temple that purifies you."
Suga's face contorts in disgust. "Purification? Why would you want that?"
Hoseok casts his gaze to the ground, unable to meet the Demi's gaze. "This."
He slides his shirt barely off of his left shoulder, revealing the red corruption.
Suga cocks an eyebrow, "Is being barely Demi that bad for you? Imagine what it's like to be a full Demi."
The younger doesn't speak for a while, and they continue walking through the flames of the Demon World. It's hot and humid and covered in flames. The entire world is like a badly constructed cave. Pillars jutting out of the ground in uneven fashions, lava dripping down the ceiling. Some could call it the equivalent of hell.
