~Your POV~
"So you're telling me that you have two hearts? You expect me to believe that Doctor?" I said full of questioning and doubt.
"Well, you believed that my TARDIS could travel through time and space pretty easily. That's the hardest thing to comprehend so far?" He laughed a little.
We were walking through the streets of London in 1873. I was absolutely breath taken. I had changed my grungy 2000's clothes for something a little more suitable for the time period. It was quite sunny outside, we walked on the brick paved streets and I just couldn't help but gawk at what was around me. I expected the streets to be busy but frankly, they weren't. The doctor seemed inquisitively puzzled by this.
"You know, I remember it being a lot busier than this." The doctor said his brow furrowed.
"I've never been to nineteenth century London, but, yeah, seems like it should be quite busy," Jack claimed in his gorgeous American accent.
~Narrator POV~
You all walked along as your feet scuffed the pavement. Your (h/c) hair up in a style that fits in.
"Doctor, how old are you?" You asked curiously.
"Over 900 to put it broadly," he smiled, walking quickly as he knew something wasn't right.
"...uh, excuse me?"
"You guys are so going to have to get into that another time... look." Jack pointed to the front of the Buckingham Palace.
Two large metal robots were stood in front of the palace and as soon as you all got near enough, they turned their heads toward the doctor.
"Doctor what are those." You asked now slightly worried about the situation you were in.
"Cybermen." He said eyes wide with fear.
"Doctor what do we do?" Jack said, frozen in place.
As soon as he spoke the Cybermen started walking toward you and your friends and you had never been more scared in your entire life. The doctor leant over to you slowly and put his face next to your ear.
"(y/n)"
"Yes, Doctor?"
"RUN!"
With that simple command, that simple three letter word, you all took off running toward the Tardis. As you passed the smoky alleyways you had walked by calmly before, Cybermen started poor out of every corner. Just as you passed another alleyway, heart beating fast, one grabbed you with forearm around your neck.
"DOCTOR!" You screamed. In a split second The Doctor and Jack turned around to look at you, wide eyed and fearful.
You were being dragged away by this giant metal man and you were sure you were going to die. This was it. The doctor ran toward you quickly and, from his trench coat he pulled out a device with a blue light on the end of it. He quickly reached out as the robot carried you away and pressed the button. The device turned on and the robot shut down.
"We have to get back to the TARDIS!!!" Jack yelled.
You were on the verge of tears and couldn't move. The doctor ran toward you and grabbed your hand. Giving you a small nod and a look of reassurance, he started running again, pulling you along with him to the TARDIS.
When you got to the TARDIS door, the doctor patted all over his coat for a key. After frantically searching he found it, throwing it up in the air as a victory and looked back at you with a cheeky smile.
"Doctor..." Jack persisted.
"Oh right, I see. No time for that," He said, quickly bending over and unlocking the door.
You all stepped inside and he shut the door behind you. You were freaking out. Pacing the grated floor you could hear the sound of your feet pacing on the metal. You were breathing at an unsteady rate as Jack started frantically typing numbers into the computer. You kept muttering something to yourself over and over trying to calm down, but you were startled by hands suddenly on either side of your face. It was The Doctor. He stared into your (e/c) eyes with his big brown ones.
"Listen to me, everything is going to be alright!" He smiled optimistically, "I'm The Doctor!". He paused a moment and waited for you to settle down. "Do you trust me (y/n) (L/n)?" He said raising his eyebrows.
"I trust you." You took a deep breath in.
"Good! I expect no less!" He bopped your nose, swiftly turning to look at Jack. "Progress, Captian?" He joked.
You giggled.
"Well, you know! Just overrode the whole mainframe and scheduled them to implode in three...two...." The TARDIS shook. "Ope! There it is!" Jack smiled.
"We did it!!!!" You cheered, the doctor cheering with you.
The doctor ran to you, flinging his arms around you and spun you around. He then put you back down and realised how awkward that may have been. You both hunch over and blush.
"Oh right, umm." He stammered, wiping his trench coat.
Jack stood up and kissed the doctor and then you.
"Guys!" He put his arms out, "We're alive!" Jack said grinning from ear to ear.
"Okay, (y/n), we need to establish that he does that." The Doctor flattened his lips. "Clearly, he isn't from around here." You all laughed.
"Maybe we should get you home." The doctor said, ruffling your hair.
He turned around to face the council. Flipping levers and turning knobs, he threw his arm up in the air and placed his hand on a large switch.
"And awayyyyy we gooo!" He smiled.
The TARDIS wooshed many times in the same way you heard it appear in your dorm. With the sound of a sudden thud, the doctor opened the door and stepped out and you quickly followed. To your surprise, you were in your bedroom and the TARDIS?; it was placed right where it had been like it had never even moved. You walk out of your bedroom and through the hall and lounge that you previously snuck through and to the kitchen, where your tea was still steaming in the mug you had chosen on the countertop, next to the spoon and jar of sugar, right where you left them.
You heard the TARDIS woosh like it had done before.
"Doctor?!" You rushed out of the kitchen and to your bedroom, where the TARDIS was no longer there.
