"So who are you and how did you get in here, exactly?" You said furrowing your brow.

"I'm the doctor and this beautiful box. Isn't she just gorgeous?" He stroked the blue door frame.

"Okay right, So you're tellin' me that you got in my house through that thing." You point to it.

"Yes, I am. Would you like to look inside my box?" he turned around and walked in it flipping the back of his trench coat up.

"Okay, so a man shows up in my room and asks me to come into his box. And I'm gonna do it. I'm crazy, completely bonkers." You say to yourself stepping into the small police phone box.

You step in and unexpectedly your feet hit metal. You freeze at the pure sight of how large the inside is.

"This can not be possible." You gawk at what you're seeing, "Okay, so you said you're the doctor. Doctor who?"

"Exactly." He said gleefully.

In the back of the room, a tall dark-haired man walks out of a hallway into the room you're in, holding books.

"Ooh, Helloo.", this man spoke with an American accent and smiled. "Who might you be?"

"I'm uh, _______." You barely got out.

"I'm Captain Jack Harkness." He winked at you.

"Woah," You swooned, "Your smile is brighter than my future."

"Jack not now." the Doctor glared at Jack fiddling with things and then straightening his glasses.

"Fine."

Jack sat down in a chair that was upholstered in white, old, cracked leather and opened one of the various books he had been holding. The Inside of the box made strange noises as if it were alive.

"So what is your name?" The doctor asked you.

"(Y/n) (L/n)." You said looking across the room at his brown eyes.

"Well (y/n) (l/n), this is my TARDIS; Time And Relative Dimension In Space. Pick any place in any year and we'll go. What do you say?" He gave you a big smile and walked toward you.

"Woah wait. You're saying this thing can travel through space-"

"-and time" he put up a finger.

"-Right, and time, and you expect me to go with you even though I've just met you?" You took a deep breath.

"Yeah," Jack intruded, "It's what he does, gorgeous. But I swear you'll never forget it."

"And, not to mention, I can have you back before your tea gets cold." He placed a hand in his pocket.

"I mean, why not!" you said optimistically, "But you have to tell me who you are and how this works."

"Deal." The Doctor grinned from ear to ear.
