Chapter VII: Officially A Timelord

The TARDIS started rattling like mad and everyone hung on to what they could. The lights were flickering and the ride to wherever Jack chose was too bumpy to say the TARDIS was working okay. You could hear the metal rattling and screws coming loose. Things were falling in the back and the TARDIS was beeping so loud it rang your ears. If this didn;t get better soon, you felt like you were going to have two heart attacks.

"DOCTOR! WHATS HAPPENING!?"

"I DON"T KNOW! HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO KNOW! I'M SURE EVERYTHING IS FINE! IT'S FINE!" He yelled over the noise, running around the console and pressing all the buttons he could to try and fix the unknown problem. When buttons and levers didn't work he started using his sonic screwdriver. Suddenly, the TARDIS shut off completely and you landed with a thud. The whole console starting letting off steam and you all fell to the ground after the TARDIS crashed with such power.

"EVERYTHING IS FINE! ITS FINE" You mimicked. You all stepped out of the TARDIS because the steam that was rising started to make you all cough and gag.

"Jack where did you even send us!!??" The doctor asked still coughing.

"Well, Em. It was supposed to be Mars but clearly, the TARDIS had some mishaps." He said with his hand in his hair.

"I say, We do our thing and look around for it while the steam goes away." The doctor said, beaming with happiness. This planet was beautiful, at least inside the city was. Outside the city walls, the world was barren, covered in dirt, dust and rock pillars the size of sky scrapers. Inside, however, was beautiful plants were flourishing and the market was busy with creatures, all different species.

"Wow, would you look at that!" The doctor yelled "look! All these different species living together isn't that just brilliant! He smiled. "If only humans could do that." The smile dropped off his face and he looked at you.

"Nope! Not human! Nice try though cheeky boy." You shot back at him.

Jack tried to hold in laughter as you called him cheeky.

"Oh, I'm the cheeky one." The doctor smiled shoving his hands into his pockets and walking to the market.
You and Jack quickly followed behind.

"So while we are here, what do you think it could be? We could pick up parts now." Jack stated.

"Ah, well I have no idea," the doctor grinned from ear to ear, "so until the steam clears and we can find out, let's have some fun! This is only one city, on one planet, in one solar system, in one galaxy, in the entire universe, Jack! We can't waste time looking at parts!" The doctor slapped him on the back. You all dispersed looking around in the markets and talking to people. The sun was shining brightly but it wasn't too hot, it was beautiful.

As you were talking to someone, a small creature came through, by the looks of it, she looked like a messenger. She started screaming.

"THEY'RE COMING! Get in your houses immediately!" The Doctor and Jack heard it too, and when they did, you all gathered together and waited.
The messenger came up to you all and proceeded, "they're coming, you must go! The guards will handle this." The small creature warned.
"I'm sorry we're tourists, so Um who is coming?" The Doctor bent down to level her.
The creature seemed quite feminine anyway.

"The Yetrian!" She yelled, "you must go! We do not need distractions on the battle felid!

"What if I told you I could help." The doctor said.

"I wouldn't believe you." She said.

"I can. Just tell me what they're here for." The doctor persisted.
