First and Last Love- Shawn Mendes

Today is the Day!

I turn over as my eyes are freshly opened of the morning sunlight. I see he's on his phone just scrolling through Instagram.

A sudden rush of energy and excitement rushes through me as I see him first thing when I wake up. I roll onto him. My legs on either side, the in-between my legs on his hips. I whip my hair over to one side so the mess isn't in my face.

"Today is the day!" I smile and shake my head. My hands pressed on his torso. "yea I might not make it to the concert with you crushing me." he laughs as he sits up to kiss me. 

"Oh.. you don't like this?" I ask as I turn my head to one side furrowing my brow.

"Not at all." He said quietly in a deep tone.

"Are you sure about that cuz last time you appreciated it..." I whisper as I pull each of his hands to my butt and arch my back as I kiss him passionately.

I unwrap my legs and jump out of bed and into the shower. "Kaya Marie cmon" he shouts as I scurry away. 

My hair sobbing wet a towel covering me. I take it off and quickly put on my usual big t-shirt and underwear. 

 Shawn is just getting reading to head out to the gym. 

"Are you gonna wear your headband today babe?" He stands in front of the bed and throws his black Nike shirt over his shoulders brushing his tousled hair. 

"Yea if you want me too" He turns and smirks at me. 

"Okay.." I say smiling and quietly as he steps closer to me.

His one arm slides across my back, his body pressed close to mine. His lips kiss me softly on the cheek once.

All of a sudden both hands are tickling my sides and my happiness is sprung to me. "Babe stop!" I yell through the giggles. 

His nibbles my ear and growls as his fingers continue to make me laugh

"You're going to be late, get going." I turn and smack is back to push him out of the room. 

I put some pants on quickly as I follow him down the stairs.

He grabs his keys and wallet from the table beside the door. He gives me a quick peck "Bye I love you" 

"Bye guys love you" He yells to his family as he walks out the door and shuts it behind him. 

"Good Morning," I say smiling and a little embarrassed that we kissed in front of his family.Karen and Manny are sitting at the dining room table enjoying coffee and each others company. 

"Good morning Kaya." They both respond a few seconds between each other. "Did you guys sleep okay in the master room?" 

"Yes it was great," Manny said as he nodded his head toward me. 

"I'm glad, nobody is slept in there for a while," I say realizing what conversation I just stepped myself into. 

"How long has it been exactly?" Karen looks at me concerned as she questions my well being. 

"Hum well, the day that Shawn and I came here to visit was my first day of reading week and just before the tour started so about almost 3 months ago, it been just me myself and Roofus." I awkwardly laugh to try and break the tension. 

They both look awkwardly at each other. "So how are you doing without your dad?" 

"Fine... I'm getting by I guess... It's just a lot to take in." I nod and I grab my fingers and twist my ring around.  A nervous habit I've done since I was little.
