Again I had no idea where we were going only that it was somewhere to eat. I don't know at what point I was stupid enough to forget how good Ali was at secrets. I guess I had come to see that the only secrets Ali now kept from me were surprises. The sky was still blue but only a little deeper in shade as the sun began to disappear. Ali was driving for only five minutes before she began to slow down outside a small Italian restaurant. I could already hear the music coming from the restaurant. There was some laughter and chatter mixed in with the music as the people in the restaurant enjoyed their meal. Ali stopped the car in the first available space near the restaurant.

"Wait here." She got out of the car and went into the restaurant.

I couldn't understand why I was to wait in the car if we were going to eat in there. I watched as people walked past the car; couples, families. After five minutes Alison reappeared with two bags.

"Aren't we eating in there?" I was so confused.

"Nope." Ali smiled and started up the car.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"You'll see." Her smile grew as she drive away from the restaurant.

We drove for another 10 minutes before we stopped at the edge of what seemed like a mass of just trees and darkness.

"What are we doing here? And where is here?" I asked confused.

"Come on." Ali got the bags she brought from the restaurant and got out the car.

I followed Alison out of the car and walked beside her as we began to wall through the trees. I couldn't understand where we could be going or why we wouldn't be in the restaurant.
Alison turned to look at me and smiled. "We are nearly there."

Her smile lit up the dark surrounding us. I couldn't help but smile back. After a minute or so I could see a single flickering light up ahead. As we grew closer that single flickering light doubled then doubled again.

I could see the candles in the distance and knew Emily would be able to see them. I would have to send a message to Hanna and Caleb for setting this up for me. We entered the clearing and it looked amazing. They had made it perfect. There were candles everywhere and a large blanket on the ground with some pillows for us. There was also another blanket folded up beside a small wooden basket.

"Omg Ali." Emily grabbed my arms. "How did You?"

"I had a little help." I sat down on the blanket that was laid out and put the food beside me.

"Ali this is so beautiful. I don't even know what to say."

"You don't have to say anything." I put my hand out for Emily to take and pulled her gently down beside me.  "I love you Emily Fields."

"I love you too."

I cupped Emily's face and kissed her gently. As we pulled away I smiled as Emily bit her lip trying to hide her smile. I pulled out the tubs of food I had acquired at the restaurant before we came here.
