                                Jc's Pov

I had really dreaded going to a new school, I just couldn't understand why I couldn't be homeschooled.
I guess my parents wanted to get me as far away from them as possible. This bed wasn't very comfortable to begin with so getting out of bed wasn't very hard. I carefully took off my shirt, looking at the scars and bruises that cover my body.

"Do you like what I've done? I worked on it all night." A voice said to me quietly. I instantly put my hands over my ears, "you need to leave me alone, you're the one making me crazy." I said angrily, "you're the one talking to yourself." The voice laughed, appearing in my mirror before disappearing when I punched the mirror, watching the glass fall all over my floor. I sighed, taking a glance at my now blood covered knuckles before pulling off the rest of my clothes before getting in the shower.
-
I had gotten into class pretty early to get extra sleeping time, or maybe I just needed to get away from home or them. I put my head down and drifted off for what seemed like a while before I felt a tug on my curls. I gained consciousness slowly before l looked over at a blonde boy with a welcoming smile on his face. We exchanged a few words before he looked towards the teacher again, I couldn't get his smile out of my mind. I opened my bag and pulled out my sketch book and a pencil. It never occurred to me why I took such an interest in his so quickly.
"You're not worth his time, leave him alone."

A voice interrupted me and I twitched blinking my eyes a few times and looking around before the voice faded. I turned my body towards who I remember is Kian, beginning to sketch him. I wanted to take in every detail he had, before my mind took that away from me. I started sketching his jawline, and the way his fingers curled under his chin, and the way his lip curled because he became interested in the subject.
I finished sketching the beautiful boy until I heard the bell ring.
I jumped out of my seat and threw my stuff in the bag. I made my way out of class before I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Hey Jc, your walking like you got someone chasing you. Wait up."
Kian smiled, getting closer to me." You need to meet my friends, they'd love you." Kian said over enthusiastically making me laugh.

"No they'll hate you."

He muttered, but I was looking right at him and him mouth hadn't moved. "Seriously?" I asked, my chest felt heavy, "what's wrong? Sorry my bad." Kian grimaced and took a few steps away from me, confusion written all over his face.
"Oh no you're fine it's fine." I said loudly, grabbing his arm.

The voices kept laughing and it was getting deafening, I looked up and they started to walk towards me, they're eyes trained on me. I started to turn around before I felt a familiar hand on my shoulder again. "Jc the cafeteria is this way." Kian yelled over the crowds, I looked back and they were gone and so were the voices.
He was special.
