Lucid || jian

Chapter 6.

                              Kian's Pov

Jc ended up staying the night because both of us were both too drained to drive anywhere, and Jc was extremely sore. We stayed up practically all night talking about ourselves, except Jc was very hesitant to open up about himself so I understood. I let it be, for now.

Jc had no clothes so I had to pick out an outfit for him and damn did he look good, props to me because it was my clothes. I avoided my parents and sprinted out the door with Jc following close behind. We both laughed as we got in my car and headed towards the school. I held his hand while I drove, smiling the whole way there.

We were late once again, sprinting to math as quick as possible, making it just in time. Jc and I took out seats quickly while Mr. Dunn's back was turned towards the class. I turned towards Jc and he was giving me heart eyes, I smiled and whispered,

"stop being gay."
"You kissed me first."
Jc stuck out his tongue as if he was reenacting it, I shook my head and threw my eraser at him, watching it get lost in his hear as we both laughed. "Boys, settle down." Mr. Dunn warned and we both nodded, still looking at each other. The day went by quick and it was our last period already. Athletics. Oh how I loved athletics, I think I was the only one that did because by the look on Jc's face he didn't. We got into the locker room and started dressing out, we got out to the field and saw an obstacle course before us.
"Okay boys, today we will be assessing you're skills. The first two will be the captains of this years annual dodge ball tournament."

Most boys cheered and fist bumped as me and Jc smirked at each other, both eager to win. I looked over at Dom, another guy that could clearly win.
"Another thing boys, you can do anything to win. Push, shove, or punch I don't care I just need two captains." Coach explain and we all got ready at the starting line, waiting for his whistle.

Third person

The whistle was blown and the boys were off, first it was three ropes tied to a wall that you had to get over. Kian grabbed the rope and scrambled up, he looked to his right and saw Jc climbing up the wall with his bare hands, he kept watching him before a voice interrupted him.

"I know you like what you see Kian but hurry up."

Jc yelled, not turning back as he got over the wall. Kian had gotten over right after and the next obstacle they had to crawl under boards and if you touched them you had to start all over again. Kian got under and saw Jc and Dom right next to each other, trying to be first.

Dom pushed Jc and Jc pushed him back, causing Dom to hit the board and the whistle was blown for him to get sent back. Kian laughed as he crawled to the end along with Jc. They got over the rest of the obstacles with ease, and before they knew it there was one more obstacle left, they had to pick up a heavy weight and run one hundred meters with it. Kian and Jc were easily first, Jc picking up his weight with ease, Kian unfortunately couldn't.

He turned and saw people gaining speed towards them as he struggled. Jc laughed breathlessly and pick up Kian's weight with his other hand. "Go! Run!" He smiled, sweat running down his face as they both ran to the finish, once they got to the finish Jc through the weights down and hugged Kian, the smile grew bigger on his face.

    Kian and Jc showered when they got to Kian's house, Kian introduced Jc to his parents and they seemed to love him, and his hair. They made their way upstairs towards Kian's room and sat on the bed and talked more about themselves, Jc decided this would be the night he told Kian. They sat there talking for a while until Kian asked Jc to go up on the roof. Once they got up there Jc got closer to Kian and put his arm around him.

"Have you ever been in love?" Kian asked, turning towards Jc. Jc looked at the sky in awe before looking towards Kian, infatuation filled his body.

"I have." Jc said quietly, looking towards the ground, tears threatening to leave his eyes. "Tell me." Kian whispered, kissing his forehead.

"We were in love Kian, I had never been more in love in my life. That was my first love, he was my everything. But one night, one night I ruined it all. He became scared of me and he left, he called me a monster and insane and he left me without a trace, I wonder where he is every day and every night. And that's why I didn't want to fall in love again but I did, you have my heart in you're hands and I'm completely vulnerable." Jc's voice shook, his gaze fixated towards the sky.
"What was the problem?" Kian asked, grabbing Jc's hand and putting it in his.
"I'm schizophrenic, I can't control it when it gets bad. I hurt the people around me, everyone is scared of me Kian, everyone leaves." Jc said, his voice cracking as he started crying.

"I'm not going to leave you. I'm going to love you with all I got." Kian said optimistically.

"Jc will you be mine?"

Kian asked, grabbing his face gently and looking into his eyes. Jc answered his question by giving him a kiss. They sat there in silence, both boys illuminating brighter than the stars with happiness. And for Jc, the voices had seem to disappear for a while.
