Tobias POV (gasp where's Tris?)

We didn't get the message until the day after the accident. Christina got hold of us on skype, due to the time difference it was a lot harder than we would of thought and informed us about everything. Last night Tris had been driving and got in a bad crash, and doctors whooshed her away to a private hospital and wouldn't even allow family members to visit. Clenching my hands, my knuckles go white, no one even knows the status of the blonde beauty and I want to rip my head off. Uriah excused himself after being informed and retreated to his room, his quiet sobs were barely heard through the walls. Will seemed to have had a silent conversation with Christina which gave my interest so I decided to overhear.

"I didn't go racing because I was upset, it reminded me of you. So she went by herself. I should have stopped her Will! I might have killed my best friend. But she would have broken down over the whole Four situation anyway, she doesn't talk a lot anymore. She is heartbroken, no matter how much she denies it. Tris loves Four and once found out about the secret he hid from her, she couldn't bare look at him." I freeze, unable to listen anymore. She loves me? Me? The broken, loner boy from the wrong side of the tracks? (shout out to whoever guesses where I got that from ;)) I have been in love with Beatrice Prior since I first met her, but didn't try to make a move due to me thinking she thought of me as a brother. She would always refer to the Pedrad's as brothers so I assumed my place was with them. How wrong I was. I squeeze my eyes shut, if only I just was brave and asked her out, maybe she wouldn't have been in that accident. Maybe it wasn't my fault. Christina said she didn't go racing- RACING? Opening my eyes, I storm to the computer, Will was still on skype with his girlfriend.

"Christina. What the Hades did you mean by racing?" I asked coldly. Both Will and Christina froze. Zeke bother glanced up at my question and glared at Will.

"Racing? What? Where did you hear that..." Christina dismisses my comment, waving her hand in a 'don't worry about it' motion. I glared daggers through the screen.

"Fine. Fine, but this is all Tris' idea. And it's actually all your fault. May as well get Uriah because this is going to be one hell of a story." Christina confesses. Zeke hollers for his brother and Christina starts explaining.

A couple of hours of in depth of talking from Christina and I'm ready to shoot myself. Tris had known all along of Uriah and I's illegal street racing, and watched us for months. The sad part is none of us had known. I always knew that Tris looked up to the Pedrad's, she aspired to be as dauntless as them. Of course she would want to do want they did, how stupid were we?

"Holy styx. My sister, I got my sister killed, didn't I?" Uriah says, horrified. Zeke bro hugs him, comforting him.

"You can't blame yourself little brother, we all did." Zeke says, laying out the hurtful truth before us. I have never been angrier in my life.

"We need the next flight to America, Ms. Flight Attendant." Will commands to the woman, she looks up at us four, probably thinking we are weird or something.

"Next one is two hours, get your tickets at the next reception. There should be spare seats." The woman responded lazily, and continued to carry on. Us four raced towards and purchases our tickets and waiting outside in the seating area.

"I need to get my mind off my sister, roast off? Anyone?" Zeke says, to anyone.

"Go for it, but I can tell you, you won't win. Pedrad." I say, needing to keep my mind of Tris.

"Game on, Eaton." I clear my voice, ready to start.

"I thought I already said goodbye to you this morning when I flushed the toilet?" I ask, with false questioning tone. A ghost of a smile lingers on Uriah's lips, distracted now. Will chuckles.

"Shut up, I'm not your mirror." Zeke clap backs, the boys laugh. I have to say I'm impressed, but I'm going to win this.

"Clearly, I'm a lot better than what you have to look at in the mirror every day." I say, shutting him down. Will raises his eyebrows, impressed. Come on Zeke, fight me.

"Look who's talking about themselves again." Zeke mutters, rolling his eyes.

"Somewhere out there is a tree, tirelessly producing oxygen so you can breathe. I think you owe it an apology."

"Well... f*ck you very much."

"I would tell you to eat trash but that's cannibalism."

"If you spoke your mind you would be speechless."

"I would insult you back but Mother Nature has already done such a fine job. I just couldn't compete."

"I'm sorry I didn't get that... I don't speak idiot..."

"Your roast's failed, just like your dad's condom." I finish, winning the roast battle. Zeke raises his eyebrows, impressed. Will and Uriah are wheezing, probably not breathing.

"You Pedrad's suck at insults, you know." Will points out. Zeke and Uriah roll their eyes.

"We know." They say in union. We all laugh, happy to keep our minds off a certain blonde for the time being.
