The Krava tribe was first discovered in 1998 when a group of Filipino explorers accidentally stumbled upon the tribe, as they were roaming the Amazons whilst on a month long excursion. The explorers have tried many ways of convincing them to come into civilisation, but the tribe was pursuant in the decision that they don't want any part in it. Hence, civilisation was brought to them in the form of scientists, makeshift laboratories, and machines.
News of the discovery of the Krava tribe reached a global scale, with multiple countries sponsoring the explorers in their intensive research on the tribe. But it's not only the way of living that caught the attention of everyone. In the midst of the Krava tribe, lived a new animal species - it's meat apparently possessing the cure of many illnesses like cancer, dementia, and diabetes. The problem is, the Krava tribe value the life of these animals, and are said to emit wrath on anyone that tries to lay a hand on these creatures.
For 19 years, many have tried to acquire the trust of these people by introducing them to the English language, sports, and food. But no one has dared to go further, either because they have grown fondness to the people of the tribe, or they are too scared that they will lose their life.
However, with the recent passing of the tribe's King, a new leader has been appointed. The King's daughter, Dei, has been closely watched by scientists and explorers the minute they found out that Dei was a child that belonged to the tribe's royalty. Their aim is to write a full study of her lifetime, to pass on for further study.
With this, they have devised a plan to use her vulnerability against her, and to somehow convince her in allowing testing on the special animals. To do so, they needed to obtain a new and young scientist into their team, in the hopes that this individual will be able to easily relate to the young Queen.
Dr. Richard R. Faulkerson Jr., a 25 year old PhD holder, who did his thesis on the various behaviour of multiple un-civilised tribes all over the world, has been chosen to do this special task. His proficiency and dedication to his craft, was enough to convince the team that he was perfect for the job.
"Dr. Faulkerson, it's nice of you to join us. How was your flight?"
"Please, call me RJ, Sir. The flight went very well, thanks for asking."
"That's good to know, RJ. 'Wag na tayong magsayang ng oras. Please, get into your suit, we can't waste any more time, since that's what we've been doing for the past 19 years. As soon as you're ready, please let one of us know. We'll take you over to the tribe and introduce you to their Queen. I have to warn you, though she's a little feisty. But seeing your good looks, I'm pretty sure you'll know how to handle her," the scientist said with a wink.
RJ got a little offended by his comment. Not because he was suggesting that he was a ladies man, but because of they way he thought about women. He brushed off the thought, though, focusing on his mission instead.
He put on a skin tight, full body, black suit, - almost like a wet suit - and a lightweight oxygenised helmet. RJ approached the others, who also had the same attire. They went through a door that led to a larger expanse of the jungle. They approached a golf-cart looking vehicle, and set off on their way to the location.
Soon enough, RJ saw a few people wearing the same suit as him, and others wearing what looked like leopard skin fashioned into tops, shorts and skirts. All of their faces were painted yellow, and had black patterns adorned on their cheeks, noses, and foreheads. The vehicle came to a stop.
A horn was suddenly sounded in the distance, a crowd quickly forming. There were a group of Krava carrying a long wooden pole, chanting in a language they couldn't understand. They rose the pole high, and there soon emerge a young women. She dressed just like the other Krava women he has seen but the difference is that only the upper half of her face is covered in paint. She hold on to the pole, as the Krava men lowered it, and she lands right in front of them.
"Well that was some entrance, wasn't it, RJ? Right, we must go now. You know what to do," he told RJ and quickly got on the cart, leaving him all alone in the middle of the crowd.
Once the cart was out of sight, Queen Dei started to circle him slowly. She had her hands on her back whilst her eyes examined him from head to toe. She started to speak to the crowd in a foreign language, which was received with roaring laughter. RJ didn't mind the laughter as he became mesmerised by the sound of her voice. And to this, RJ gave her a determined look.
"You're not like them," she finally spoke to him.
"Why? What are they like?" he replied.
She turned to the crowd and spoke to them again, waving her hand in the process. Quickly, the crowd dispersed.
"Alam ko kung ano ang gusto mong kuhanin sa amin."
RJ looked at her with eyes wide open, startled that she can speak his mother tounge.
"Dei!" a male voice called out in the distance.
There approaching them was a Krava man, his build, impeccable.
He spoke to her in their language, and by the way that the man kept on looking and pointing at RJ, RJ figured that he was questioning why she was talking to him. The man looks at him one last time, and walks away with an irritated face.
"Sumama ka na sa akin. Ituturo ko sa'yo kung saan ang tirahan mo."

FanfictionSince I always search for and come up with a bunch of MaiChard prompts, I decided to just post them up here. Who knows, I might even end up making a full fic out of a few of them!
