Since I always search for and come up with a bunch of MaiChard prompts, I decided to just post them up here.
Who knows, I might even end up making a full fic out of a few of them!
"Hola," Maine heard a deep voice call out from behind her.
She turns around and was greeted by an endearing face. His dimple very prominent as he was smiling - a little bit too much.
"Hola," she gently replied back.
"Me-Me, lla-llama? Ah, no. Me, uh, sorry. I mean, lo siento?" the man stuttered.
She couldn't help but to smile and giggle at how cute he was, as he tried to introduce himself. He laughed nervously, at how lame he thought he probably looked. He went on to bobbing his head, and placing a hand on his nape.
"Ah, English?" he finally asked in defeat.
"Si," she playfully replied.
"Really?"
"Yeah," she answered, as she took off her shades with one hand, resting them on her head.
"Oh," he finally realised. "You could really pass for a Spanish girl with those shades on."
"Better keep them on then," she jested, whilst flashing a smile that he considered was the most gorgeous he has ever seen.
Ugh, she's beautiful.
"I'm sorry?" she went on to ask, swearing that she heard him say she's beautiful.
"Ha? Wala, I mean, nothing. Sorry, being bilingual in another country, can really take its toll on a person."
"Hala, Pilipino ka?" she queries in surprise.
"You are too? Paano?"
They both found themselves laughing together, with the realisation that out of all the places they could've met, it would be in a country not their own.
