Chapter Four

Saturday
Eliza's POV
I woke up at around seven thirty Alex and I were going to get coffee at nine so I rolled out of bed, and stumbled into my closet. I decided to wear a white sweater with a blue scarf and some black leggings. I thought it was simple yet cute. I went to my bathroom to brush my teeth and stuff like that.(omg I'm sooo specific!!!! Sarcasm! Also this is the author) When I was done I grabbed my purse and walked over to the little corner coffee shop down town, how quaint! I saw Alexander wait outside. "Hi Alex!" I said playing with my hair a bit. "Hello he replied, opening the door for me. "Thank you" I said walking to the front to order. We both ordered coffee with cream and sugar. We sat down at a seat near a window. "So Eliza, tell me a bit about yourself. I didn't get to know much about you by passing notes!" I laughed and said "Well I'm from Manhattan, my sisters and I had a tree house in our backyard, it's still out there. Anyway so we made great memories there growing up, like I would dress up like a soldier and play with toy swords with Angie. Peggy would dress up like a queen and we would entertain her. One time it got a bit out of hand, so Angie's sword fell out the window and I pushed her to the ground, put my foot on her stomach and said "I AM THE MONARCHY'S FAVORITE, FEAR ME ARISTOCRATS!!!" And Angie said "the word aristocrat is not what you think it means!" So I said with clever wordplay association (lol John Mulaney reference) "Shut up, I'M HAVING MY GLORY MOMENT!" And then ripped off my coat and yelled "SMELL MY STENCH" and put on Angie's face and she shouted "Eliza you are so disgusting!". Alexander was laughing hard. "Give me a break I was seven!" I said. I shouldn't have told him that last part. "Oh, no I get it. It's cute." Alex said. "Well I was, and still am a big tomboy."

One hour later

I got a text from Angie saying I need to head home soon, she needs help doing my laundry. "Alex I have had so much fun but Angie needs me home, we should do this again sometime!, bye!" I said getting my purse and heading home.

Alexander's POV
Eliza is so much fun! I really like her, but I can be stupid sometimes so I fear I will break her heart.

I decided to grab my things and start heading out when a certain someone walked up to me. "Hey, cutie" a woman said. "Maria, what do you want?" I said obviously annoyed. "You!" She said. "No you don't!" I said trying to walk out but she blocked my path. "I'm trying to go to my dorm!" I said she moved out of my way, but she said something that grabbed my attention. "I have a way of stopping you breaking your poor Eliza's heart!" She said leaning on the wall.

"W-what is it?" I said nervously. "Isn't it obvious?, make her love you, bring her flowers make yourself irresistible to her!" She said. "And why should I listen to you?" I said folding my arms. "Because it always works!" She said walking away. I shook it off and went home Eliza likes me just the way I am! Am I right? Maria is just a idiot!

Meanwhile
Eliza POV
"Hey, Eliza!" Peggy said "How was coffee?".  " Oh, it was great!". I said walking to my room putting up my purse. "Yeah, awesome happy memories! Eliza your laundry is a three person job!" Angie said putting on bright yellow rubber gloves and the giving some to me and Peggy. "Awww!" We groaned. And walked to my closet. Peggy opened it and fell down. "ELIZA ARE YOU RAISING RATS IN THERE?!?!" Peggy shouted. So we just breathed through our mouths. It was hard. So after a while we successfully cleaned my clothes. Angie was right that is a three person job. 

Time skip 10:43
Alexander's POV

I have still been thinking about what Maria said. I thought I would sleep it off so I went to bed.
In Alexander dream
"Eliza, I'm sorry" I said. "Will you ever forgive me?!" I added. "I don't know!" Eliza said, crying and running off. "You should have listened!" Maria said. "Shut up!" I said. Maria rolled her eyes.
Alex woke up
2:56
"Thank god it was a dream" I whispered. "Alex?" Laurens whispered. "What are you doing?" he said, still in a whisper. "Oh... nothing, just a dream" I said rolling over. "What are you doing?! I was trying to sleep!" Mulligan said. "You best wish you don't wake Laf up!" He said. "Too late!" Laf said throwing his pillow at Mulligan. "Hey!, I was telling THEM to shut up!" Mulligan said, handing Laf back his pillow. "I know, you are just louder" he said going back to sleep. "Yeah, whatever" he said also falling asleep. "Night Alex" Laurens said he, too fell asleep. But not me, I didn't fall asleep
I was only thinking.
