Chapter 7

Peggy's POV
Angie has been acting unusual, it's getting Eliza and me worried. It might be nothing, at least I hope. We all walked to our dorm, quietly. "Whoa, girls did you trash our dorm?!" Angie said. "No, we walked home from our picnic to find this!" I said, Eliza nodded. "Well, I don't care who did this, just clean it up!" Angie said storming out the dorm. "That was completely out of character" I said. "True, something is up." Eliza said. That's when I got a text on my phone.
John 😍
John: Hey Peggy I was wondering if you want to go to this carnival with me in two weeks?
Peggy: ok!!! Sounds fun!😀
John: awesome! See u in class.
Peggy: bye
Eliza was reading over my shoulder, "ooohhh, someone has a crush on john!!" Eliza squealed. "Shut up!" I said putting my phone in my pocket and grabbing some cleaning supplies. "Those emojis say otherwise!!" Eliza said. "Ok,so I do!, who cares!" I said cleaning the dorm. "Um, big deal!" Eliza said hugging my waist. "What the he*l" I said. "Eliza look at this" I said pointing to a smudge it looked like it said Peggy, Eliza I'm after you! "Oh my god." Eliza said letting go of my waist. She took a picture of it on her phone. "Why did you do that?" I said. "We might to file a police report." She said. "You can clean that now" Eliza said, still staring at he phone. I wiped the smudge.

We had finished cleaning and was at the table. "What should we have for dinner?" I told Eliza. "I'll order pizza" she said placing an order. "Cheese pizza?" She said. "Yes please" I said.

Meanwhile...
Alexander's POV
"John, should I ask Eliza to the carnival?" I said. "I dunno" he said. (I don't know how guys talk to each other, bear with me! 🐻) "I think I should" I said. "Go for it" Laf said. "Hey Laf, I heard you say that Angie has some wits... and is a belle et seduisante femme." Hercules said, nudging him. "You don't know what that means." Laf said. "Alex" Herc said. "It means beautiful and alluring woman." I said. Everyone but Laf went "OHHHH". "Fine!" He said. I got a text from Eliza.

Eliza: Hey Alex, i've been noticing that Angie had been acting strange since this morning.
Alex: That is odd. When did you start noticing these changes?
Eliza: This morning when she came back from her walk.
Alex: Were you awake when she took her walk?
Eliza: No
Alex: Was Peggy?
Eliza: No.
Alex: That is very unusual, we should talk about it more in class tomorrow. Bye Eliza 💙
Eliza: Bye Alex 💚

One hour later
Angelica's POV
"So it's nighttime, you will sleep in your chair AND STAY THERE" James said. That gave me time to think about some way to get out or alert my sisters. It's very hard when you're actually tied up. What can I use? I can't yell, because campus is too far. I cannot use my hands, or legs. So don't focus on signaling them yet, worry about breaking out. I was about to attempt to break free when- "Hello Angelica" Maria said. "Going somewhere?" she said. "What do you want?!" I said. "Alexander and wealth!" She said. "Excuse me?" I said, raising an eyebrow. "Listen, Alex is a hot guy. That is my number one wanted feature in a man, and people like me... down on their luck." She said. "And what does this have to do with me?" I said. "You and your sisters are loaded pistols!" (That pretty much means they're rich) "How will you get money from us then!" I said, my voice raising. "Murder" she said walking off. "You monster!" I said. She clearly didn't hear me. I'm curious why didn't kill me then; there were already plenty of some deadly weapons in here. I know I will be fine.
That night I hardly slept, wondering what will happen next.
