He stumbled through thick vines and brambles on the stone floor, scattered and sticking to the walls of the Labyrinth. His breath was tired; weary. Bloodshot eyes from sleep deprivation stood out against his fair face, smudged with dirt and dried mud.

"Shit..." He mumbled as he almost lost balance.

His shoes were dirty, his pants were a tad torn as well as his shirt, and his hands were slightly numb from falling on them so many times in just the past few hours since he started running the Labyrinth.

He regretted this. He regretted saying such words, getting himself into such trouble. And her. He worried about her.

"Tired?" He whipped around and was faced with a young woman of beauty. The woman who ruled the Goblin Kingdom alongside the famous Goblin King.

"You're the Goblin Queen!" The boy muttered.

"Mhmm." Raven stood from the edge of the Labyrinth wall and hopped down, tauntingly holding a handful of fresh strawberries in front of the boy. This was the fifth runner in the past few days. The Labyrinth was striving again.

"C-Can I...have some of those strawberries?" The boy stammered.

"One condition."

"Anything!"

"Quit tripping and falling. We can't stop laughing and I'm pretty sure the Goblin King's busted something." She handed him the berries and disappeared.

"Oh." The boy shrugged and ate a strawberry, moving along his merry way.

Meanwhile, Jareth was on the floor easing his breath from laughing too much. Raven sat next to him and leaned against the wall and sighed,

"How'r you feeling?"

"My face and stomach ache. Too much laughter. So much..." Jareth sighed.

She laid her head on him and huffed, suddenly feeling exhausted from the hilarious amusement the boy gave them.

"How much longer?"

"Oh, about ten more hours." He laid his arm on her back, his thumb twirling and tracing small circles against the fabric she wore.

"Perfect. Just enough time for a nap."

"A ten hour nap?"

"Yep."

"Well, I may just join you. Being a king does get tiresome."

"As if I don't know." She snorted.

Raven pulled up a crystal to see how the boy was doing. Laughter from both of the Fae ensued once again.
