* Mark's POV *

I held her body against mine. Her heart began to beat fast. My lips brushed against her neck. Emily let out a soft moan as my teeth gently scrapped her skin. 

"Are you sure princess?" I whispered in her ear. 

She nodded her head. I kissed her neck and smiled. 

"After you're cured from whatever poison is- AHK!" I looked up at Emily from the ground. 

"I don't like being teased." She smiled innocently. 

I shook my head and stood. In one quick moment I pinned her to the bed. My eyes met hers. She gave me a challenging look. I smiled and gave her a quick kiss. 

"I'm serious." I sat up. "I'll mark you." 

Her eyes brighten. 

"But that'll be after five dates." I smiled. 

"Five dates?" Emily mumbled. 

"Yeah." I nodded. 

"Okay." Doctor Nick walked in. "I have to give you more than one shot." 

Emily looked down at the tray. 

"Six." Emily mumbled. 

"Look at me princess." Mark turned her head. "Focus on me." 

Emily looked back at the needles. 

"Do I really-" 

"Hey." Mark turned her head again. "Focus on me princess." 

Emily sighed. She looked at him. They got lost in each others eyes. It was like they were talking but only using their eyes. 

"All done." Doctor Nick said. "If you feel the need to come back then please do." 

He turned to Mark. 

"How is your father?" He asked. 

"Why don't you go see for yourself." Mark stood. "Let's go Emily."

Emily sat on her bed criss-crossed. She smiled happily at me. I couldn't help but to smile back. 

"I'm so happy you're here." She smiled widely. "Pinch me, I wanna make sure I'm not dreaming." 

"We should go on a date." Emily said, her thinking face cute. 

She's cute. 

"The movies." Emily clapped her hands cheerfully. "My uncle owns a movie theater we can go there for cheap." She winked at me. 

"What movie do you wanna see?" I asked. 

"The Lion King." Emily answered. 

"Hmm, werewolves going to see a movie about cats. Interesting." I teased. 

Emily rolled her eyes. 

"Come on." I stood. "I would love to see a movie about cats with you." 

"I'll grab the tissues." Emily grabbed some from her nightstand draw. 

The drive there was quiet but nice. 

"Emily!" This girl ran up to Emily. 

She hugged her tightly. 

"I missed you." She smiled at her. 

"Yeah, I've been dealing with things." Emily looked over at me. 

"Alpha." Avery bowed her head. 

"You don't have to do that." Emily said. "He's my mate." 

"Tsk." I shook my head. "When a werewolf meets an Alpha that's what they're supposed to do."

"She's not even from your pack and you're not an official Alpha yet." Emily argued. 

"What do you mean by yet?" Her words kicked something in my heart. 

"I didn't mean it like that-" Emily face-palmed herself. 

"It's okay. Lets go see this movie." I took her hand. "Wanna join?" 

"No thanks. I don't wanna be a third wheel." Her friend laughed. 

I blew my nose as we walked out the movie. 

"And you thought it'd be a lame movie." Emily laughed. "Have you never watched The Lion King?" 

"No." I shook my head. "I didn't really have a childhood." 

Emily stopped, her gaze fixed on the ground. 

"It's okay princess." I grabbed her hand. "I won't let our kids have my childhood." 

"Or mine." Emily said. "After the kidnapping, my father never let me do anything." 

I pulled her into my arms. 

"Lets get you back home." I kissed her forehead. 

As I drove into her drive way her brother and father walked out. 

"Ten minutes late." Ethan shouted. 

"Shut up Ethan!" Emily shouted. "Have you never heard of five o'clock traffic you retarded fuck." 

I tried my best to hide my smile but it slipped. 

"Ethan go back into the house." Alpha Kaiser gave him a pointed look. 

Ethan rolled his eyes and walked back into the house. 

"I'm sorry sir." I sighed. 

"Come join my pack." He said so quick that my head couldn't process it fast.

"What?" I shook my head. "I'm sorry sir but I can't do that. I have a pack that I'm caring for right now." 

He gave me a confused look. 

"Don't, he'll try and hit you while you're down." Emily gave her father a dirty look. 

"I have to trust him if he's going to trust me with you." I gave her a warm look. "My father is sick, he's been sick for a while." 

"If you hit them while their Alpha is down I will-" 

"I know he's sick." Alpha Kaiser said. "I want you to join my pack so you can be with Emily." 

"What if I wanna join his pack?" Emily crossed her arms. 

"No sense." Her father looked at her. "I will not allow it." 

"If my father suddenly gets better then yes, but if not with all do respect Alpha I'm taking Emily with me to my pack." I said. "I'll see you tomorrow princess."
