* Ethan's P.O.V *

"Not happening." I shook my head. "No way." 

"Why not?" Emily clinched her jaw shut. 

"It's a trap." I shook my head. "Once Mark joins our pack dad will take out Mark's pack." 

Emily gave me a blank look. 

"Ethan, would you still love me if I left the pack?" Emily mumbled. "I've been thinking about it and Mark's pack needs him. He needs me." 

"You're my sister, my twin technically my other half. I could never stop loving you." I hugged her tightly. "The future is ours not theirs. I think it's time we take over." 

"Do you have a plan?" Emily asked. 

"I'm going to challenge dad." I ran my hair through my head. 

"You're going to what?" Emily's eyes widened. 

"We know he's not going to give up his position so I'm going to challenge him." I nodded. 

"You're crazy." Emily shook her head. "If you lose dad will-" 

"Dad will what?" He walked in. 

"I'm sure you already heard, considering wolves have good hearing." Emily rolled her eyes. 

"You're right." He nodded. "But I want to know what you think dad will do?" 

"Kick him out the pack." Emily looked down at her hands. "It's in the pack rules." 

"I know, I wrote them." Our father sat down in the chair and faced us. 

"You want to take over the pack?" He asked me. 

"Yes. I feel like your rules and how you do things is going to ruin our future." Ethan said. "You don't listen to us, so if this is the only way to get through to you then-" 

"I accept your challenge." Kaiser stood holding out his hand. "Next week, two o'clock." 

"Okay." I shook his hand. 

"What happens if I lose?" Our dad asked. 

"You step down." I said. "I'll be the pack Alpha." 

"And if you lose." He looked over his shoulder at us. "You will be banished from the pack land." 

I stood right as Emily started crying. 

"If he goes then I go." She cried. 

He walked out. I turned to Emily. 

"Don't worry I will win." I said.

The week went by fast. Emily chewed on her nails as she paced back and forth. The pack started gathering around. 

"He's welcome to my pack if he loses." Mark wrapped his arm around Emily. 

I walked up to her with a sad smile. 

"I believe in you." Emily hugged him tightly. "You will win." 

I kissed her forehead. 

"Thanks for believing in me." I smiled. "That's all I need." 

I took a deep breath and stripped down to my boxers, my father did the same. 

"The first down that can't get back up loses." The Beta said. 

I heard the count down and shifted into my wolf. 

Let's do this Max. I growled. 

We will win. Max stood in attack mode. 

We walked in a circle. I studied his movement. He lunged at me and I jumped out dodging it. I growled. He ran up on me and landed a bite on my side. 

Okay, time to get serious. Max howled. 

I lunged toward him. I locked my jaw onto him slinging him into the tree. I stalked over to him. Anger glistened in my eyes. Bite after after, I made sure that we wouldn't get up. 

"That's enough!" I heard my mom shout. "You're going to kill him! You proven your point Ethan." 

My father shifted back. My mom covered him up with a blanket. 

"Are you happy now?" She said with tears streaming down her face. 

Emily ran over with a blanket as I shifted back. 

"Yes." I said. "I'm sorry mom but it was the only way that I can assure that Emily will be happy." 

She shook her head helping my father stand. 

"Agh." She grabbed her stomach. 

I caught my dad before he could hit the ground and Emily grabbed my mom. 

"The twins are coming?" Emily asked. 

My mom nodded. 

"Let's hurry." Emily said. 

Mark ran over. He scooped my mom up. 

"Be careful with her." My dad coughed. 

He nodded and rushed to the pack hospital. Hours pasts as we waited. The door opened Emily and I looked to see who it was. 

"You guys can come in." Doctor Nick smiled. "Come in and meet your siblings." 

I walked in. I smiled seeing my mom and dad smiling happily. 

"Dad, I want to talk you later." I said. 

I walked towards the door but was stopped by Emily. 

"Where are you going?" She asked. 

"Somewhere." I patted her shoulder.
