* Ethan's POV *

I refuse to let my sister be mates with him. It made me and my wolf upset. I wanted to rip him to pieces but that would emotionally kill my sister. I stood looking out my window as I saw a grayish black wolf. I growled, the pack must have heard it because of the security lights came on and the alarm went off.

I walked out rushing to the back yard woods. He was gone but his scent wasn't. I looked up to see my sisters curtain closed. Did he come to see her? I hid behind the three as she peeked out the curtain. My heart ached seeing the sad look on her face. I should be on her side so why do I feel like this? 

Unanswered questions ran through my mind. 

Was he bad person? 

Would he hurt Em? 

Should I confront him? 

What do I do to keep my sister happy? 

Night went by fast. I knocked on Emily's door but she didn't answer. I opened her door to find her staring at the ceiling. I sighed. 

"Ready to go?" I asked. 

"Yeah." She sounded kinda off. 

Emily walked to the car. I wanted to do something but I didn't know what.

He didn't show up at school today. I know that Emily was looking for him. She was sad the whole day. 

"What?" I turned to see Andy standing behind me. 

"Emily ran off of campus." He said. "I thought you would want to know." 

I cursed under my breath. 

"Thanks." I said putting my stuff in my locker. 

I don't know where she could have went but I hope it wasn't to see him. I hoped in my car speeding off. I saw Emily and pressed on the gas. I quickly braked it as a girl ran into the road. She screamed. I got my car seeing her lying on the ground only inches away from my car. 

Did I hit her? 

I walked over to her. As I placed my hand on her shoulder a tingling sensation ran through my body. 

Mate. My wolf spoke excitedly. 

I picked her up along with her stuff and put her in my car. 

"Please be okay." I said. 

 I ended up forgetting about my sister. I needed to take her to the hospital. 

I sat there waiting for her to wake up. I could tell she wasn't a wolf, I've always thought that wolves mate with wolves. I took in a deep breath. She smelled nice. Like vanilla and strawberries. 

My eyes widened as she started to make noise. She opened her eyes putting her hand on her head. 

"Where am I?" She mumbled. 

"The hospital." I said. "I hit you with my car." 

I felt a sudden pain in my head. I screamed holding my head. 

"Stay away from me." She managed to stand. "I-I know what you are." 

I laughed looking up at her. I screamed in pain again. It felt like my head was going to explode. 

"Please stop." I fell out the chair onto my knees. 

The pain in my head faded away. 

"My mom told me to stay away from people like you." She said. 

"Well that sucks." I stood. "Because you're my mate." 

"What? How is that even possible?" She questioned. 

Her eyes widened. 

"My family must be cursed or something." She shook her head. "My sister is a werewolf mate. I was on my way to visit her." 

"You seem fine." I was relieved. "After you get discharged from here I can take you." 

"Okay." She nodded. 

On our way there I realized that we were getting close to my packs land. 

"Who's your sister?" I asked. 

"Storm Jones." She looked at me. "Why?" 

I laughed shaking my head. 

"Your sister is friends with my mom." I pulled into the driveway. 

Avery ran out but froze when she realized that Emily wasn't with me. I got out the car and walked over to her side opening the door. She smiled at me. My heart took flight. 

"Where is Em?" She asked. "And who is this?" 

"I'm your aunt." She smiled. 

"My mom never told-" 

"Avery get away from her." I heard Storm shout. "Ethan why did you bring her here?" 

"She was on her way to see you when I hit her with my car, so I thought I'd be nice and take her here besides her walking." I rolled my eyes. 

"I left home." She said. "I was tired of moms controlling shit." 

Felix stood behind Storm. His eyes met with mine. 

"She won't be able to go back anyways honey, Ethan is her mate." Felix smirked. "I guess it runs in your family." 

"Is this true?" Storm asked me. 

"Yes." I held back my smile. 

"Come in, a storm is coming." Storm looked up at the sky. 

"Is that why you are nam-" 

"No." Storm cut me off. "Well kinda. I was born during a storm." She then said. 

"Oh." I said following closely to my mate. "What's your name?" 

"Sylvia." She answered. 

"Such a pretty name." I smiled. 

"Mom will be looking for you." Storm sat down. 

"I cast a spell on myself, she can't find me." Sylvia smiled. 

"Smart." Storm nodded. 

"Where is Emily?" Avery asked. 

"Don't know." I sighed. "She's upset and ran off of schools campus." 

"Upset about what?" She asked. 

"Ask her." I snapped. 

"Watch it." Felix arched his brow at me. 

"I gotta get going." I said. "See you around, mate." 

I opened the door to find that it was raining. I darted for my car. I gotta find Emily. I tried calling her and mind linking with her but she just won't answer.
