Chapter 1

Daniel's POV

I walked out into the stage in Boston, Massachusetts to perform with the rest of the Why Don't We boys. As we performed , all the caffeine was kicking in from the coffee I chugged 45 minutes before . My mood bursted with happiness as I sang to the song. I was getting very energetic . Before I knew it , it was all over. But it really wasn't considering I had to meet and greet fans at the end backstage.

Abby's POV

"I'M GONNA MEET DANIEL SEAVEY!!!!!!" was what was going through my mind as I walked up to the meet and greet backstage. I was with my best friend, Carly . She wants to meet Jack and Zach , her idols. She wants to date one of them I think. We are both 18, so it wouldn't be the craziest thing if we actually got to date them. Obviously , that would be insane. I'm in love with Daniel, and I've been in love with him for as along as I can remember. He's so beautiful .
Finally , it was our turn to meet them. I was having a mental breakdown. I walked up to Daniel and just started giggling and turning red.
He opened his arms to give me a hug , and I did. I didn't want to let go. Then we took a picture and he turned to me.
"Where are you lovely ladies from ?" He asked.
"Seattle." I say.
"Neat! We are actually leaving for Seattle tomorrow night for our next spot on tour. Maybe I'll see you around?"
"Maybe.Well , I hope. " Carly said .
Daniel laughs .
"How old are you? " he asks me.
"18. Born in February." I say.
"Nice. Well , thank you for coming." He says and gives me a kiss on the cheek.
I turn to Carly and start giggling.
We run out of the meet and greet and into the parking lot. She unlocks her car and we hop in and drive to our hotel. During the ride , Carly couldn't stop questioning me and fangirling about Daniel kissing me.
"I ship it! Dabby!"
"Do you think he loves you?"
"What color eyes do you want your kids to have?"
"Do you think we will see him in Seattle?"
I'm overwhelmed with all the questions.
"Carly. It was a meet and greet. Nothing special." I say.
"You just met Daniel FUCKING Seavey!!!" she shouts.
"I know!!!!! " I shout , too.
We both start laughing.
And the rest of the ride is just like that.

Unknown Number- Hello there :)
Abby- I'm sorry, who is this?
Unknown Number- Daniel :))
Abby- SEAVEY?
Abby looks up from her phone and calls for Carly in the other room.
"CARLY!!" She shouts.
"What's up?"
Abby lifts up her phone and shows the chat. Carly gasps at the sight and starts smiling.
"AHHH!!" we scream.
"How did he get your number ?" she asks me.
"I'm gonna ask. I don't even know!"

Daniel- Yes ;)
Abby- How did you get my number ?
Daniel- Your friend gave it to Zach to give to me .

I turn to Carly , who is biting her fingernails and laughing silently.
"Carly...."
"Yeah?" she says.
I walk up to her and give her a hug.
She laughs as I walk back to my phone sitting on the bed.

Abby- You're a little sneak , Seavey .
Daniel- Is that a bad thing?
Abby- I like it. :)
Daniel- Why, thank you .
Abby- What's new?
Daniel- We are back in our hotel room, and the guys are trying to see how many cups of water it takes to fill the bathtub.
Abby- Wow.
Daniel- I know . I'm very disappointed in them.
Abby- 😂
Daniel- What's up with you?
Abby- Nothing much. Chillin.
Daniel- When r u flying to Seattle?
Abby- Tomorrow . I have a 7:30 flight.
Daniel- PM?
Abby- yeah. Y?
Daniel- That's the flight why dont we takes tomorrow.
Abby- Which airport?
Daniel- The one past the car rental .
Abby- That's the one !
Daniel- That's crazy lmao.
Abby- 😂
Daniel- the guys and I were gonna grab dinner in the airport before we leave for the flight. wanna join us?
Abby- I dunno ....
Abby- I don't wanna leave my friend
Daniel- I meant u and ur friend lmao
Daniel- Is Champs ok?
Daniel- it's our all time fave
Abby- we like it there too , so alright.
Daniel- awesome 👏
Abby- it's getting kinda late. I'm tired.
Daniel- it's only 11:34!
Daniel- chit chat with meeee
Abby- ill grab some coffee from the lobby so I can stay awake.
Daniel- LOL
Daniel- I'll grab some too
Daniel- we could be talking for a while.
Abby- alright , Seavey.
Daniel- alright, abby

"Carly!" I shout .
"What?" She shouts back from the bathroom.
"I'm going to grab a cup of coffee. Want anything?" I ask.
"Nah. I'm good."
I grab my room key and open the door.
"Peace."

Daniels POV
"Guys!" I shout.
"What?" Jack replies.
"I'm gonna grab some coffee ,ok?"
"Alright. Can u grab me an iced coffee while your out?"
I nod as I grab my room key and head out the door. I'm heading towards the elevator when I see it closing.
"Wait!" I shout.
The girl inside holds it back open . And faces me .
"Than-"
I pause.
"Abby? "
"Daniel?" she says.
"You're staying in this hotel?" I ask.
"Yep. Ha. I didn't even know you were here! I was just gonna go grab some coffee at the Starbucks downstairs." She says.
"Well, I'll be joining you for your evening cup of coffee." I say as the elevator roams down and stops on the main floor. The door opens.
We walk out side by side right towards the Starbucks. We order our coffees and wait for our names to be called.
"I bet you a dollar they will spell my name wrong." She says to me.
"Deal. How do you spell your name?" I ask.
"A-B-B-Y." She says .
"That's how I'd spell it. Or A-B-B-E-Y."
"That's usually how they spell it when I come here.I mean-"
She's interrupted by the sound of the cashier calling our names to come and pick up our cups.
He hands us our drinks and we sit at a table . Like Abby said, it's spelt "A-B-B-E-Y" .
"Told you!" she says.
"Well, that's a dollar out of my pocket!" I joke.
"I'm kidding. You don't need to give me a dollar."
"Well , my name is incorrect too. My name isn't D-A-N-E-L."
Abby laughs and holds up her carmel iced coffee .
"Cheers to our misspelt names!" she says and we clink cups.
I take a sip of my cold brew coffee and check my text messages . It's from Jack.

Jack- How's the date?
Daniel- what?
Daniel- how did u know?
Jack- you don't go out for coffee by yourself at 11:30 at night .
Jack- don't lie to me danny
Daniel- fine I'm with someone but it's not a date
Jack- is it that abby girl?
Daniel- I'm not telling you!
Daniel- I'll tell u when I get back up there ok?

I put my phone down and start talking to Abby again.
"So, what's your favorite song by us?" I ask her.
She pauses after taking a sip of her drink.
"Well,  Just To See You Smile , Something Different, and Why Don't We Just are my favorites . But I really love All My Love and Taking You too, because those were the first songs I heard from you live."
"In person? " I ask.
"No. Someone on Instagram recorded parts of some of the concert she went to ." she replies.
"Oh . Nice. " I say.
We kind of just sit there for a while sipping our coffees and playing games on our phones.

Abby's POV

Carly- Yo
Abby- Holo
Carly- where have u been?
Abby- sitting down at Starbucks.
Carly- by yourself?
Abby- pretty much
Abby- who would I be with?
Carly- daniel
Carly- ur with Daniel
Abby- I am not!
Carly- abby stop lying
Abby- fine . I'm with Daniel
Carly- ok
Carly- don't get pregnant we need to fly tomorrow.
Abby- that won't happen
Abby- I promise.
Carly- have fun 😉

-3rd person POV-
Daniel and Abby stop texting and start talking about things they like to eat, fun experiences , funny stories, places they've traveled, and past relationships.

Abby's POV
"It's 12:30 . I should get going back to my room." I say.
I get out of my seat and start walking until Daniel grabs my hand.
"Come on. A little longer?"
"I'd love to, but I need to lay down. I'm tired." I say.
He frowns and lets go of my hand.
"Ok. May I walk you to your room?" he asks.
I nod my head and he holds my hand again. It feels so cold because of the coffee he's been holding.
We walk to the elevator , land on my floor, and walk to my room. I open the door with my keycard and turn to him.
"Bye. I'll text you tomorrow ?"
"You bet ! " he replies.
I step into my room and close the door.
"Bye."
