Chapter 48

Abby's POV
The car ride was silent.
I was so nervous, and I could tell Daniel was too.
As we pulled up, my heart just beat faster.
I am afraid of what might happen.
But I can't turn away now, right?
We walked in and Corbyn was already there.
Daniel and him locked eyes for a second, and then he turned away.
I sat down in between them, and then my name was called.
As Daniel walked in front of us, Corbyn whispered something to me.
"I will always be here for you. Thick and thin."
I entered the room and took a seat in the chair.
As the nurse left, I could feel the tension between Daniel and Corbyn increase.
They just stared at each other until the doctor came in.
Then they turned away.
"Hi Mrs. Seavey, what are you in for today?" The doctor asks me.
"I'm here to take a DNA test. For the baby." I respond.
"I'm going to need you two to step out so we can take the blood, and we will take the test while you step out."  She says.
~25 mins later~
After the test was done and she was reading the results to me, she has a very confused expression on her face.
"Something isn't right." She says.
"W-what?" I ask.
"Let's check the sonogram again."
I look at the screen and yes, something isn't right.
Daniel and Corbyn walk in to see what's happening.
"What the test says is that there are 2 babies, and one belongs to each father."
I look up and Daniel's face is turning purple.
"W-w-what?" Corbyn asks.
"When she got pregnant the first time, it was your baby-" she says, pointing to Corbyn.
"The second baby is yours." She says, pointing to Daniel.
"You're having 2"
