Abby's POV "So what do you need? " Anna asks , walking us to her room. Anna was one of my best friends. When I say best friends, I mean BEST friends. We have never had one fight or argument, we can laugh at the weirdest, most random things, and we know everything about each other. "So Abby's going on a date and she needs something decent to wear. Could you help us out?" Carly asks. "What times the date?" "8 . And he's picking me up at my house." I say. "Perfect. That gives us 3 hours to get you ready, and then I'll take you back to your house. But first, lets get an outfit for you. Go in the closet, try whatever you want on, and come out so we can see. " "Alright then." I say. I step into the large walk in closet and shut the door so I can change. I look around at all the clothes and see something that catches my eyes. A pink dress that wasn't so ugly to start.

I slip off my shirt and jeans and out the dress on over my head. As I step out of the closet, I already hear Carly and Anna's reaction. "NO." "Come on! It's cute!" "That's the kind of dress you'd wear for your 5th grade graduation! Or to your cousins birthday party!" Carly says. "Then why do you own this, Anna?" I ask. "I actually don't know. You can keep it." I groan and walk back into the closet. I see another dress, except this time it's long and black.

I walk out of the closet again, and this time Anna is the one who make a statement. "That looks like what a lonely person gets buried in. Definitely a no." I turn to Carly for her opinion. "Sorry Abby, it's a no from me." "Ugh. Fine. " This's time when I go back in, I look a little closer for something better. Then, I spot a blue dress that I thought they would like.

As I put it on , I hear Anna knock. "Hey Abby . When you're done with that one I found a dress I think looks cute so if you wanna try it on after this one I'll leave it on the door knob. " "Ok." I say. I open the door again to show Anna and Carly the 3rd dress I found. "I mean, it's cute. But not for tonight." Anna says. I roll my eyes. "I'm gonna be here for a while, aren't I?"
