Chapter Eight

Gabby's POV
I wake up to my phone ringing and I groan when I see its 7:30 in the morning. Who could possibly want to talk to me at 7:30 in the morning? I look and it's a unknown number. I answer it and a guy name Justin answers it.

Justin: hello is this Gabby?
Gabby: yes this is she
Justin: hey I'm from island records and I want to sign you. What do you say?
Gabby: that'd be a great opportunity but I would like to read and have a few more details until I sign.
Justin: of course I'll be in Omaha in two to five days. Bye ms shepherd.
Gabby: bye Justin.

I hang up and I shake Nash. He wakes up but looks a little upset.

"Nash guess what!" He looks like he wants to yell at me but changes his mind whenever he sees my facial expression.

"What is it?" His morning voice is completely amazing.

"I got a call from Island Records and a guy named Justin says he wants me to sign a record deal!" He hugs me and presses his lips against mine. His lips are so soft and perfect. He pulls back and says "sorry".

"It's fine Nash and plus your a good kisser." I wink at him and he blushes. I get in the group chat with the guys and I ask them to meet me at Starbucks. They all respond with a yes and even Gilinsky says yes. I'm surprised but he is my 'best friend' so he has a right to know.

Nash, Hayes, and I are waiting at Starbucks as I'm nervous. These guys came into my life not too long ago but they make me feel important. I see them come out of Cameron's van and I roll my eyes. Only they would have a van. They come in and order their drinks and they come over once they get the drinks.

"Okay Gabby spill." Aaron is always the one to get to the point. I take a deep breath and look at them.

"So I heard my phone ringing at like 7:30 in the morning and I'm like who the hell calls at 7:30 in the morning. So I answer it and it's a guy named Justin. He's from Island Records and he wants to sign me. I want more information before I sign though but he's coming in two to five days but isn't it exciting!" I clap my hands together and everybody is happy. I see Shawn and he looks like he wants to share.

"Your turn Shawn I know you want to say something too." He nods and looks at us.

"I'm also getting signed by Island Records except it's by a guy named Andrew!" I hug him and he hugs back. I'm so proud of him.

Everyone is congratulating us except G. He looks deep in thought but I'm not going to ask.

"I couldn't be even more proud of you Gabby!" I turn and it's Johnson. I can feel the tears in my eyes threatening to come out. I hug him and he whispers, "G's proud of you too he just doesn't know how to tell you. But remember he still loves you no matter what. He's going through a I don't give a fuck stage but don't worry Gabby he'll come around. I'm here for you, you just need to remember that." I nod and pull away. I'm so glad to have Johnson with me. The guys are near Shawn, hugging him slapping his back. Shawn looks like he won a million bucks and I feel empty inside. I should feel happy but it doesn't want to come out. It's like I can't be happy. Nash makes me happy like how G did. The only difference is that Nash won't hurt me on purpose.

I'm in thought and I feel a tap on my shoulder. I turn and I see G. My breath becomes a little hitched but I recover. "Hey G."

He smiled in relief and hugs me. "Hey Gabsters. I'm proud of you."

"Thanks G but I really need to get back to Nash. He wants to do something to celebrate. I think he planning on taking me to the arcade so I can beat his ass." G nods but his jaw is clenched. "Bye G." I say softly as he walks away. He stops and turns around.

"Bye Gabby. I love you." My breath hitches and I want to say it so bad but I can't. I use sign language instead. He can't read sign language but I think he got the idea of it. He smiles and turns away. Nash comes behind me and whispers, "I'm not an idiot. I know you still love him but I hope you love me one day like how you love G." He kisses my forehead. I smile as I thought of how it could be with Nash. It be fun and peaceful.

We go to the arcade and I smile at the thought of me beating Nash at air hockey. "Get ready to lose Grier." I tell him.

"Right back at ya." He winks at me and I win 2 rounds and wins 2 round too. This round is a winning round. The loser has to do whatever the winner wants for a month.

I end up losing and Nash said his favors would be random. I'm okay with that. He wants me to kiss him so I do. We go to his apartment and Hayes isn't there so Nash grabs me and leads me upstairs. He pins me to the door and I gasp. He smirks and kisses me. He knows exactly what to do. It's like I've been in another universe where there isn't a Jack G or anybody. Just Nash and I.

He leads me to the bed and lays me gentle. He kisses me and he grinds on me. I gasp and I move with him. He groans and I moan in his ear. He leans into my ear and asks, "Are you sure?"

"Yes." And with that simple answer he doesn't hesitate. Let me just tell you now that I lost my virginity to Hamilton Nash Grier.
