The Story of Pain
                              i
might as tell the tale of pain
of the broken woman
who dared not tell her own story
'cause she knew how afraid
she was if she had to tell
how fragile her heart been
how the darkness became her blanket,
and how the melancholic cries of the sky
turned to be her warmth
                              how the wounds and blood
quenched her drought,
how the view of the shattered glasses
wiped the hunger in her eyes away
might as tell the story of pain
of the broken woman
who, in glum, the tears in her face
flowed much as the floods destroyed
                              everything in her,
the fear--just the fear
and in every beat of her heart,
her painful, unfathomed death
