Chapter Eleven

I woke up with a pain in my head. I couldn't really remember what happened last night until I saw the doctor sleeping next to me, he had kept the bad dreams away.

He started to toss and turn in his sleep before his eyes opened and he looked at me. "gold morning" he said

"hi" I replied, this was awkward

"soooo........ about last night" he said, bringing up this complicated subject

"yeah" I said sadly

"what did it mean?"

"I don't know" I said, not making eye contact

"well... what do you want it to mean?"

"I don't kno-" I started but before I could finish my sentence I felt a soft pair of lips next to mine.

When he pulled away I smiled at him and he smiled back. Then he jumped out of bed excitedly "meet me in the console room as soon as you can!" he said as he ran out of my room

"okay!" I called after him but it was too late, he was gone

I walked into my closet and picked out a pair of ripped skinny jeans and a loose floral sweater. I put on a pair of pink shoes and placed a flower in my hair. I grabbed a matching pink bag off one of the shelves and threw in a pair of sunglasses and all the stuff river had given me. I placed a heard necklace aria d my neck and clipped in some diamond earrings. I threw in some money and candy and then ran out of my room and down the never ending halls.

When I got to the main console the doctor was dressed and standing playing with buttons, as always.

"you look nice today" he said and smiled at me

"thanks" I muttered, it was still awkward being around him after last night.

"so, lets go somewhere all rainy, I like rain" he said

"soooo, England" I said jokingly

"that's rude!" he said with a laugh "but yes, lets go to England, haven't been there in a while"

I laughed quietly and sat down on a seat behind where the doctor stood. He pressed some buttons and the TARDIS made a wheezing sound

"trouble"

I heard a voice and looked around "did you bear that doctor!?" I asked

"what?" he said

"someone spoke to me. It was a girl! She said 'Don't make me go'!"

The doctor looked around the room before turning back to me "there's nobody there"

"you need to go there"

a woman screamed in my ear, making me deaf for a second. I fell to my knees on the Tardif floor and clutched both my ears tightly, trying to make the noise stop. There was a loud noise before sparks flew in the air and sent the doctor flying backwards. He was talking about something, but I didn't hear, all k could hear was the loud ringing.

Then just like that it stopped and I stood up. I ran to the other side of the console and started trying to stabilize her but she just wouldn't land. I flicked some switches before I pressed down hard on a big button and the TARDIS shut down, she just stopped moving.

I rushed over to where the doctor was sitting rubbing his head "are you okay?" I asked

"yeah I'm fine, why is the TARDIS shut down?" he replied

"she was going out of control, she just needs a minuet to calm down before we start her back up, she should be fine after that" I told him

"okay" the doctor said "have we landed?"
