Chapter Twenty

I look down at the piece of technology in my hands and look up, its supposed to be here but I can't see it. She is supposed to be sitting right here, but there is no sign lf her.

"honey." I say "honey its me, Ruby. I really need you right now, so please come out of hiding and let me see you"

The air around me gets blurry for a second and a red phone box starts to appear. I smile and push on the door, to my surprise it opens and the beautiful red flow from inside shines against the black night. I take a step inside. She has changed since the last time I saw her. Her walls are now blue with many holes with a pink light shining out of them. The floor is like a metal grate that makes a soft noise when stepped on and the console is black with sliver and blue buttons. The tube in the middle is a circle, like the doctors, and it is green. I pat the railing lightly and smile. My beautiful TARDIS.

"oh honey" I say "you are looking good"

"isn't she just?" a voice from behind me says

I turn to see my father standing behind me with an evil grin on his face. I pull my gun from my boot and point it at him.

"this is inevitable. You made wrong chooses and I have to punish you for them" I say

"why not just report me to the Shadow Proclamation, then I will be in jail forever" he says

"if storm cage cant hold River Song, it can't hold Max Ivor" I say

"true" he says with a shrug and sits in one of the chairs surrounding the console "so, get it over with"

I sigh "you threatened the lives of many people, you killed mom, and you ruined my life!" I yell "you killed my children"

"well, if you hadn't been such a whore and gotten pregnant three times I wouldn't have had to! Its your fault all of them are dead, you are the disappointment to the family!" and with that he smacks me across the face hard and I stumble backwards and hold my hand to my face.

He kicks me in the stomach, making me fall back onto the ground. I struggle for air as he climes on top of me and repeatedly hits me in the face.

Then I remember the gun in my hand and shoot him in the stomach. He falls back and puts his hand over the wound. I get on top of him this time, just as a yellow glow starts to appear on his hands. Before the process can go any further I shoot him again in the head and his body goes limp. The TARDIS makes a loud noise, signaling she was happy. Of course she was, I can see on the console where he hit her. I stand up from his body and walk over to the console. I type in some coordinates and she rumbles slightly before making a noise, telling me we have landed,

I step out of my TARDIS and see the doctors sitting next to mine. I smile and open the doors. Rory and Amy are sitting around the console, Amy looking depressed. When she sees me her eyes widen.

Rory stands up "took you long enough!" he yells

"yeah, well soooooooooorrrrrry my dad his himself on a planet outside of the universe and I had to burn up four suns just to get to him" I say casually

"oh my god" Amy says "you died! How... you died!!"

"yes Amy, and now I'm alive, keep up" I say and give Rory a hug "thanks for covering for me"

"no problem, but you should really go find the doctor, he's really bummed out" he says

I nod just as the others walk into the console room, minus the doctor. They all looked shocked when they see me, well, not David or Jack.

"hi Carrie" jack says

"actually my name is Ruby Ivor, sorry bout the confusion but I'm afraid I have had a very busy day, I went to Yoki, fought aliens, met River song, and shot my father in the face. So I have to run, gotta go find my mad man with a box! He gets ever so angry when I lie to him" I say and run up the stairs after earning a smile from David and Rory.

I run through the halls until I come to my bedroom doors. I knock three times "go away!" the doctor yells from inside "I want to be alone"

"well" I say "I thought, maybe that I could be in my own room, but if you don't want to see me I'll just go"

I start to walk back down the hall when the door opens and the doctor runs to me, spinning me around to face me. His eyes are wide as he scans me with his screwdriver "you're real" he says

"no, I'm totally fake. Just thought it would be fun to dress up as your dead girlfriend and knock on your door" I say

"sometimes I hate your sarcasm" he says and gives me a huge hug "how are you alive?"

"I think its a story best told once, so get the others into the library so I can explain myself!" I say and run off to the library.

Once the others are gathered in the library I begin my story. "I was born on Galifrey" I start "to max and Mary Ivor, one year before the time war my father started abusing my mother and I, and he eventually killed her. According to the shadow proclamation since I knew about the abuse and didn't report it, it would have been my fault, and my entire family would have been killed. So before we left, I refused. I would rather have died then leaving my planet with my father. So my father shot me, and I regenerated. I was blonde I think. So then, my father took us to Canada and we started living our lives normally, like humans. After a while I developed a hobby of killing aliens, and when I met Rory I was in a situating where I was going to die, so my body regenerated into this, the one you see now. I met Brice and I had three children, which my father later came back to kill all of. They eldest was seven, her name was Trish. My father killed Brice, and was put in jail. My father made a clone of himself and pit him in there instead so he could continue his journey looking for me. When I stabbed myself in the TARDIS, my father took my to my apartment here, and told me to pack. Before I regenerated I put the energy into the hair in my hairbrush, and that's how I kept this appearance. My father dropped me off in England where I met jack, and he gave me a job. I told River Song what to say to you on the beach and I told her to give you that note. An hour ago I found our TARDIS" I looked at David "dad was there, and he started to beat me up pretty badly, but I shot him in the gut, then the face. I then came here"

"what did you tell Rory and David in the bar?" the doctor asks

"I told them to keep you busy, that's what my game was, just keeping you busy" I say

The doctor nods "so you and David are..."

"no, David turned himself human but still obtains all of his memories, but yes, I am a TimeLady, last of em" I reply

The doctor hugs me tightly and kisses me softly on the lips "I love you" he says

"I love you too" I reply and kiss him once more
