Chapter Thirteen

I walked down into the control room where the doctor was no where to be seen. I sighed and sat in one of the seats around the consol. I swung my feet back and forth while I waited for nothing.

After a while the TARDIS door opened and closed and there were footsteps walking up to me. I looked up and saw the familiar face of Jack Harkness.

"hey" I said with a smile

"hey!" he cheered and walked up to me

He sat next to me a d we sat in silence for a while until he spoke "where's the doctor?" he asked

"I figured he was with you" I said with worry

"no, I haven't seen him in a few years now, I saw the TARDIS and decided to come and say hi" he said

"that's weird" I mumbled "he didn't hear me screaming, his room is just down the hall from mine, how could he have not heard me screaming?"

"why were you screaming?" jack asked

"I had a nightmare" I said and stood up from my seat "I think he may be in trouble, and we have to find him"

"okay, well can you pit some pants of first?" Jack asked with a smug smile

"sure" I said and pulled him by the hand up the stairs and into my room. I made him sit on my bed while I ran into my closet and put on a black skinny jeans and a baggy grey tanktop with a blurry skull on it. I pulled on a black leather jacket, because it was freezing in here. I shoved my feet into a pair of black heels and put on my signature makeup along with some thin bracelets and a weird looking black ring.

When I walked back out into my room Jack was standing there looking at a picture I had of the doctor and I laughing.

I grabbed him by the hand and pulled him out of my room and down the long hall. as we were running a voice rang through the halls. It was the voice I dreaded hearing, the voice that haunted me everyday, it was the voice of my father

"oh my sweet Ruby! How have you been?" he asked "oh I know how you've been, I'm here with the doctor right now actually"

"don't you hurt him!" I screamed "I swear to god if you don't leave right now I will kill you. Again"

"aw yes, daddy's little girl, back for revenge on the father that saved her from the war" be said with a laugh

"you did not save me. I wish I had died along with the rest of them!" I screamed

"no Ruby, I know that deep down inside you still love me, and what you did all those years ago was a mistake. But guess what honey? Not killing you when I killed your mother was a mistake. If only David hadn't been such a selfless person and just let you die after I shot you, but no! Ruby is too special to die. Because after all those times I tried again and again to kill you, you were always so pushy! Now, answer me this... why didn't you just die?" he asked

"because I couldn't leave David alone with you. I knew what kind of person you were, and I made the right choice dumping you back home. Now how about you answer me this... how did you survive?"

"find me and I will tell you everything. Don't find me and the doctor dies. I though maybe you would need a little help, so I found some of the doctors best friends and I am sending them your way now. The TARDIS is hurtling towards a frozen star and will crash in three hours, its about to get a lot colder in here and if you don't find me all of these innocent people die, and its on you" he said and then the voice left.

I slammed my fist against the wall and screamed.

"hello?!" I heard a Scottish voice call. I turned and saw four people standing there. There was two girls, a blonde and I ginger, the blonde was pregnant. there was also two men, one was wearing a suit and bad handsome brown hair, be looked a lot like one of the past doctors. And then there was Rory, the man who had saved my life. Then who they were clicked into place inside my brain
