Adjusting the laptop on the living room table, as supernatural streamed on it. Texting Willa when things were happening. We decided that even if we were apart we wouldn't stop watching supernatural together.

"Hey Nova, I'm in need of munchies and unfortunately that basket only contained fruit, as much as fruit is good, I want something salty and yummy. Want to come to the store with me?" Pondering for a moment before nodding. Texting Willa to pause and telling her I would be right back before grabbing my oversized cardigan to wear over my relaxing tank top and Pj shorts.

Sitting in the car as my Dad took a little longer than expected to come out. Tapping my fingers while I watched the lights being turned off and he emerged locking the door behind him. He was lounging in a Shirt and basketball shorts. With the shirt you could just barely see the tattoos coming out from behind his back.

"Ready?" Nodding as he took off. It was only 9 but it looked like it was still bustling with people. More than there should be. He pulled into a convenience store no more than a couple blocks from home. We got out and went to the door, seeing a couple of teenagers hanging around outside giving us weird looks before taking off.

Going inside and grabbing a bag of lays chips, plain because I'm boring like that. My dad grab Ketchup and headed to the clerk.

"Find everything you need?" The man who looked to be in his twenties, looked tired and so done with his shift already.

"Yes." My dad held a cold tone with him, which I wasn't use to but ignored anyways. Hearing the door open before I heard my father's name being called.

"Paul! Oh my goodness it's been ages!" We both turned to see a lady around my dad's age go up and hug him. "You must be Nova, Oh my goodness she looks just like her mother!" I felt myself get confused as I stared at this stranger who knew my parents so well. Seeing my dad give her a look that made her immediately pale.

"We have to go Lidia." I saw her nod before I followed my dad out of the store, having a few questions for him before I saw his face. Seeing his frustration and anger on it I decide later would be a much better option. Walking past a the teenagers again before hearing them whisper something that made me nervous.

"I wonder how long until the Kanes take this as a challenge?" I glanced back confusingly before I saw them walk away quickly. Feeling the pit in my stomach grow as I debating asking if something was up. I watched as the drive home was quiet and we entered the house. He immediately went up stairs as I rested back onto the couch. Texting and turning on the laptop to supernatural.

Unable to focus as I tried to think back to when I lost her, having little memory but knowing it had something to do with cancer. Which made enough sense to me now. Was the reason he got hired here so quickly because he lived here before or was mom here before? Could it have been a random chance accounter? I doubt it, maybe he will just tell me soon enough.  I'm not much of a pryer.
