"Yuka! Let. Him. Go!" I yelled behind a closed door, banging a fist against it. There was a desperate tone to my voice, and even with the commotion downstairs- I couldn't help but worry about my friends.

Yuka let out a snarling miauw, obviously not in agreement to the idea.

"Please!" I sobbed, having lost hope long ago. I didn't care that I was resorted to begging by now.

My head was laying on the wooden door, hair mussed against it. I was breathing loudly, clutching the door handle in utter despair.

I couldn't do anything, locked behind this stupid door like a damsel in distress.

I picked up a strange noise, a noise from past the attic window. I turned my head to it, only for the... screeching to get louder.

"It'll fit!" Sherria cried in her white dress cried, pushing down the shoe even more. "It will fit! I wore it last night, I promise!" she mislead, nodding her head in agreement to her own statement.

The poor shoe-fitter looked terrified from her other sister's attitude, so he desperately helped her as well.

And it went on like that.

"Ca-caaaaaw!" Spocky came flying into the room, screeching dramatically at me.

I sighed a sigh of pure relief. His black eyes looked confused at my state, before slowly coming to realization. "The other way! The other way around!" I cried desperately.

As if the beautiful sparrow already knew I was going to say that, he left from the same place he came in.

And not a moment later, those screeches were heard loud and clear at the other side of the door.

My heart swelled twice it's size when I hear Spocky attacking Yuka for me.

The keyhole was too small, and I could barely see anything though it. Just flashes of dark blue, scarlet, pink and caramel.

I blink, a sudden flash of pink jumping on the dark blue. Virgo had jumped on the cat, sinking her small teeth in her ear. Que the loud 'meeoooooooow!'.

Shove.

From Virgo distracting Yuka, I see the tip of the bronze key peeking out from under the door.

"And you're the only ladies in the household, I presume?" Rufus asked one last time, not sure if he was expecting an honest answer from the Lady.

"There's no one else, your grace," Minerva answered, bowing her head. Voice dripping in fake sadness, while her daughters pouted behind her.

Rufus and Orga exchanged disappointed looks, before nodding. "Thank you for your time, Lady Orland," Orga said, before being the first to disappear through the door.

The moment Rufus stepped outside, a voice called out.

"Your grace! Your grace!"

The long-haired man swiftly turned around, ponytail hitting his back gracelessly.

There, at the top of the stairs I stood, one hand on the railing. "Please wait!"

Recognition instantly sparked in the two high-ranking officials. They grinned at each other, stepping forward yet again.

"May I try-"

"Pay no attention to her, she's just a servant I brought in from Fairy Tail," Minerva interrupted me, throwing me a pure-hateful glance. She instantly blocked my view from Orga and Rufus, as I was halfway down the stairs.
