Arranged Marriage with Luhan

Chanyeol's P.o.V.

"Ne, I have finished it." 

"Thank you very much, Chanyeol. Bye for now."

The connection between the person on the other line and I have been broken as the phone beeped a tiny tone. I fished it on my pocket as I walked towards the working table. There, I saw the members helping one another with a few tasks.

"Oi, hyung. Help us here!" Sehun shouted as I nodded and smiled. I grabbed an empty chair seated beside Lay and Kai as I looked at what they were doing. 

Paper cut-outs were scattered all over the place as well as glue lids and packed materials. I inspected the members, and they seemed to be occupied with the things they are doing. They were busy cutting shapes, reading articles, and pasting cardboards A few times were seen where they ask questions regarding their work.

"What's happening? How can I help?" I asked as Suho looked at me and smiled.

"These are for the ceremony this Friday. Guests would come on stage, and we have to decorate it with stuff. By the way, our topic's about business, since we would be having our annual career talk." He said and handed me a bunch of colored papers. I reached for it and placed it on the empty spot in front of me.

"Please cut shapes with these letters." He said and handed a paper to me. I read it as it shouted: "Romiyans: Building paths up for a better future." I nodded and started cutting the shapes up. Since the students are called Romiyans (Where the rootword is Romiya, the name of our school), I have started drawing students holding postcards for each letter.

As I waved my scissors from side to side, I can't help but think of what Luhan is doing right now. I am proud that I had helped, and I am proud that I made him realize his feelings-- although how I did it was extremely hilarious.

-Flashback-

I knocked on Jjeolbae's room as she opened it up for me. Finally, I have decided to make a move; not for me, but for them. I looked around the room and searched for things that I could do for an excuse, and gladly, I found one.

"Jjeolbae! Can I borrow the tape dispenser?" I asked as she nodded and grabbed it for me. She took it on the side table resting by her wall and gave it to me.

"Thank you! And one more thing." I said, trying to make it look like I am on a hurry. She looked at me with questioning eyes as I opened my mouth to speak.

"Luhan and I had been fighting over this thing: the tape dispenser, I mean. I know that he will come up the stairs a little while after this. If he asked, answer yes immediately, real immediate." I said as she nodded and left out a chuckle. I am somehow happy that she bought it.

"Alright, alright." She said as we bid goodbye at each other. 

"Teens these days." I heard Jjeolbae say as I walked in victory.

--"Cool!" Chen shouted, interrupting me from my thoughts. I looked around as I saw them looking at the bondpaper that I am currently holding. 

"Oh...this?" I asked as they nodded. I chuckled at their expressions as we heard footsteps coming towards us. I turned to look as I saw Jjeolbae. She was wearing a beanie, a plain white shirt inside a blue jacket, a pair of jeans, and red sneakers. Her outfit somehow matches the breeze today, which is a bit cold.

"Where you headed to?" Kris asked as she grabbed her bag which was lying on the table.

"Convenience store. Anything you want me to buy?" She asked as all of us nodded. Suho slid a paper from his right side and took it out. He listed a few things and passed it on the members. They did too, as I waited for my turn.

I received the paper from Lay as I wrote a tetra pack of youghurt drink and a few crackers of my choice. I passed it onto Kai as he scribbled a few and handed it to Jjeolbae.

"I'm off, then." She said as all of us nodded, except for Suho, who stood up.

"Here." He said and took something from his pocket. He went near her as she waited with curiosity spinning around.

He took out a few rolls of cash as all of us smiled, and Jjeolbae laughed.

"You don't need to." She said, waving her hand from left to right. Suho forcefully placed it on her palms as she chuckled and nodded in defeat.

"Alright appa Suho. I'm off, and take care over there!' She said as all of us nodded.

"Take care, Jjeollie~" He said sweetly as she darted off.

Suho sat down and continued with his work, smiling.

"I guess you're glad from being called an appa." Baekhyun remarked as Suho smiled more.

"Aigooo~ It's relieving and fulfilling, you know. Can you not see the happiness that I am feeling? It prepares you for the future, you know. Use your little grey cells." He said as all of us shoook our heads and took out smiles.

"Only you think about that." Kyungsoo teased as Suho frowned.

"Yeah."

"But...it really brings happiness to me. Can't you feel it?" Suho asked as all of us cracked up.

"Do you know where Jjeolbae is?" A voice asked as all of us looked on  the person up the staircase.

"She just went off, Luhan." Tao answered as he widened his eyes.

"It's already seven in the evening! You let her alone?" He asked as all of us widened our eyes. He ran immediately as he parted his lips to speak.

"I'll be going after her, don't worry." He said and drove off.

Jjeolbae's P.o.V.

I have decided that Lana and I should meet up at the convenience store. We still need to talk and settle a few matters up regarding my brother, Taeyang.

I turned corners as I reached the store. I then entered it as a cold breeze--colder than the one outside, welcomed me. My eyes shifted around until I saw a woman sitting down by herself. She was wearing a pink skirt that flows until the bottom of her knees and a yellow blouse. I immediately recognized her as I sat down on the empty chair in front of her.

"Oh, you're here, Miss Jjeolbae. Good evening." Said as I nodded. 

"Good evening, Miss Lana. I'm going to order now. What do you want to eat?" I asked as she looked around the counter.

"I'm still full, but I'll just grab a sandwich." She said as I nodded in understanding. I stood up and ordered a sandwich and a baozi. After a while, I took the tray and placed it timidly on the table.

I am eager to know more about my deceased brother, and I have decided to take on more clues about him.

"About...Taeyang, I want you to know another piece of information." She said as I stared keenly at her, pushing myself to be attentive at every word that she would say.

"He...gave me a message before parting with me."
