Jjeolbae’s P.o.V.
I was told to take the route opposite to the usual, and I don’t know why. It was longer, and I have to spend more bills rather than taking the normal one. Peculiar.
There, I locked the main door as I parted with Luhan. He was to take the street opposite to mine, and I suppose his destination was different from mine too. I have decided not to pry on where he is going, since it would just be a bother to him.
There, I dragged myself to the shed nearby and waited for the bus to come. It was to drop by on this place in five minutes, and I know that they were somehow strict with time. There, I settled a few activities like tapping my shoes and playing with the seat made of rods to deal with time.
Then, a fast swing of air came towards me as I stared at the lights of the vehicle I was waiting for. It stopped in front of me as I took the step and entered it. My eyes ran around as I saw an empty seat by the window. I immediately occupied it and made myself comfortable with the little place. The conductor headed to my place to give a ticket which I exchanged with a few bills.
I stared at the view by the window side as I let my thoughts consume me.
Saturday.
The next day, I shall be facing the case, and possibly, this might be the end. No. This shall be the end. And I will be the one who would initiate it.
All the things that had happened, I shall be facing it with no hesitations and no fears, for it will end soon, and all I have to do is endure it.
The bus stopped for the second time. A few people entered the bus as someone took his seat beside me. There were no other seats left, since it was occupied by the newcomers. He was around three to four years above me, but I did not mind him since it was not my business anyway.
My parents still do not know that I was investigating about Taeyang oppa’s case. They thought that it was fixed already, when actually it was not.
Clara Hilton—a name that was running around my mind for the past few days. I can’t keep still, and I can’t stay with what I have now. I have to be greedy for information, and I need to know the possible things that might had happened. I still am curious with why my brother kept the picture frame with him. If I were in his shoes, I would place Lana instead, since no one would get to see it anyway. Not Clara, and not even Lana.
“It was the other way around.” A voice said, interrupting me from my thoughts. I looked around for the sender, only to see the person sitting beside me staring at me.
“Are you talking to me, sir?” I asked politely as he nodded. He leaned back on his chair and crossed his arm. His pair of shades were covering his eyes, and I cannot take a better view of his face.
“Every detail matters, my child. One word could change a whole scenario. One word could move a large amount of people, and one word could sway things and change your views.” He said with confidence and stared at me again. He smiled and placed his hands neatly on the seats after doing so and tapped his boots on the floor.
“The way you are seeing things—it is wrong, madam. Look at it as a whole, and do not go much into details this time. You already have everything you need to face your greatest enemy.” He said and stood up.
”Think of it. Make your mind work. You can do it,
.
Jjeolbae.”
“How..how did you know me? Who are you?” I asked but he lifted his sunglasses up and went out of the vehicle, making me startled and shocked.
I leaned back on my seat and held my arm. I have decided to forget what had happened, but I took note of the things the gentleman has tipped me. I guess he was giving me advice, and I guess it would aid me when the time comes.
I stood up as I knew that I have already reached my destination. I hopped out of the bus as it departed. I took a few steps in front of the restaurant using the brick floor that was meeting my flat shoes. I was searching for my mom on the glass walls of it, but I surrendered when I have failed to do so. I just entered in an instant as the staff greeted me a welcome.
“Are you perhaps Miss Kim Jjeolbae?” The receptionist inquired as I nodded. It somehow questioned me on why my mom has to keep this as our rendezvous. We could have just met on the mall in front of this, but she insisted to.
I shook my worries off as I walked behind the receptionist. I stopped as I collected my thoughts.
Is Luhan here?
I continued following the receptionist as she led me to a table by the window. It was somehow deserted from the other tables, and I suppose it was meant for talking. I took a peek at the person, only to see my mom. My expectations were somehow high, but I guess I was thinking of things.
I instantly approached her and greeted my mom.
"Annyeong, mom." I said as she nodded and smiled. She requested me to sit down as I followed.
"I was not here just to give you the item you left. I was here for something." She said as I listened carefully and let her continue.
"The Lu and the Kim's---we are going to separate from now on."
