Jjeolbae’s P.o.V.

Lana.

“Do you know where she is?” She asked, but we just shook our heads. Although she has taken a mention on my name, she still is finding Lana.

It was pretty new, though, since Lana is not involved with these.

Luhan then took the calling card by the tray and gave a few words in his phone. On the contrary, I just waited for her to calm down, since it would not be good to talk to her.

The lady is now sitting on the stretcher.  Her awareness has been activated, and I guess it is now the time to ask questions.

I just nodded and dragged a seat near the bed. I plopped myself down.

“What had happened, Mrs. Clara?” I asked as she stared at me for a while.

“I do not remember much, but I know I was sitting on the car a while ago. I felt a different sensation and fell asleep, and when I woke up, I am now here.” She explained as I nodded.

“Did you find the driver quite odd?” I asked as she shook her head and tapped her chin.

“I only remember his eyes. They were swollen. You know, a little shade of red.” She said as I nodded. I have heard quite a few cases regarding these, and it would be safe to conclude that that is what had happened.

“I suppose you were drugged while you were on the way. Seeing that the driver’s eyes were swollen, he must have inhaled the spray while you were on the way.” I explained as she nodded.

It was rather strange that she got here safely, and I currently have no idea why. The police must be involved in these type of cases, knowing that a life could be in danger.

“Were you the one who killed my brother?” I said, getting with my topic. I know it has been nice of me to ask her state, but I had to ask this straight to the point. I have been waiting to ask these for almost a year. Nervous, but I am eager to know.

“You are Taeyang’s little sister, are you not?” She asked as I nodded. She took a deep breath as I grasped onto the chair harder than expected.

“No, I was not the one. I most certainly did not, and I would never do that to him.” She said.

 I was taken aback.

I paused for a while and nodded immediately.

“Who did, then?” I asked as she stared at the ground placidly.

“L…Lana. Lana did.” She admitted as I stared at her, waiting for an explanation.

“You want an explanation, do you?” She asked as Luhan came to us and pressed my palm, telling me to keep going.

“It was summer back then, when I met your brother, Taeyang. Bit of a nice chap, really. Perfect cook, handsome man, talented boy. I was in Seoul to study when I first met him. I liked him instantly, and I would not deny it. Slowly, I grew fond of him, but I did not know that he feels the same way too. When I confessed my feelings, he immediately returned it back. He knew how to love, your brother. But there was a time when I had to go back to my hometown, Paris. We still kept in contact, though. But it was a little hard. After a few years, I had known that he will come there, so I have decided to meet with him. He stayed there for a month, with your family, I think. We met often. One day, I received a message. It was from him, telling me to meet with him at the same place. But he never came.

“I thought he did not want to talk with me anymore, but my sister never came back to the mansion. Then it came to me. She has mentioned once that I should not be meeting with men like him, and I should be following my parents instead. She was probably jealous, and when I went inside her room, I found a picture of Taeyang—the young one. She had liked him for some time now, knowing that she is keeping that picture of his for around ten years.  We studied together at the same school, but her batch is lower than mine.”

Sadness came to her as I paused and nodded.

"I was immediately scheduled to get married the day after. I hated my family for doing that. I have not yet absorbed the events, yet they forced me to. I do think Lana was the one behind it, I just...don't know."
