Luhan’s P.o.V.

I shifted from my position and finally realized that I can’t go back to sleep. The weather is too cold today, see, and I suppose that was the cause of my interrupted slumber. But even though I woke up earlier than usual—three in the morning, that is, it is just alright since today’s Saturday.

There, I rose from my bed and turned the knob. I guess a glass of milk and water would do, since two people have recommended that for a good sleep.

Luhan, honey. You could play soccer tomorrow. Drink it now and go to sleep. What story do you want to read?

It’s for a good sleep, Luhan. My mother always tell me that.

Two people most important to me: my mother, and Jjeolbae.

I chuckled at the memory and turned the lights by the kitchen door. I really don't want to transfer dorms, but I will be forced to next week or so. But if I do, I still would visit the gang.

"You'll be moving with Sabrina."

Just by the thought, I can't help but frown. It was like how the two of us started: Jjeolbae and I. What if what they were saying were real? What if I would be forced to?

I smiled in contentment as I reached for the answer.

I would fight, of course. As I have said,

I would be the one to get married, not them.

There, the darkness faded and is now replaced with light. After doing so, I gently pulled the fridge and took two large bottles, but still, I am having second thoughts; Should I go back to sleep, or should I just wait for the morning?

Footsteps filled the room, making my thoughts get broken and my curiosity active. Scared, I am, but I have to check it.

I took a small paring knife and turned the knob slowly. I can feel my fingers getting numb and my feet getting wobbly. I can sense my heartbeat by ear and my throat get dry. Thoughts were eating me up, and the chances of it being a robber or a murderer cannot escape my mind.

A small gasp was heard as I turned the lights on. I sighed and placed the knife down after doing so.

“You scared me!” I exclaimed at Jjeolbae, who seemed to be going out.

“Ya! You were the one bringing the knife! I should be the one scared!” She replied as the two of us paused and chuckled.

I asked where she was headed, and was not disappointed.

“I’m going to be honest. I’m going to the ribbon cutting today, alright? Don’t tell the members, and go back to sleep. You’re just dreaming.” She said and took her old rubber shoes, which I think was used a hundred times on a soccer field.

But drifting back, I suppose I cannot help her with anything. I know she wants to conquer it alone, and I know that she really wants to bring justice up.

“Aniyo. You’re not going with that attire.” I said.

Simple, it might be, but I suppose this is all I can do.

There, I grabbed her by her wrist and dragged her up to the staircase. I then opened her room and searched her closet. She was whispering remarks that her attire was fine, but it did not move me.

“It’s...it's a formal gathering, remember?” I asked and she nodded.

“I’m going to meet her after, anyway.“ She answered as I laughed.

“You can’t. They won’t allow you.” I answered as she thought and reconsidered.

Jogging pants, jackets, and shirts were hanging on her closet while a few dresses (which I suppose can be counted by the fingers) were folded neatly below. Her taste was somehow boyish, but I find it cute. I plan on letting her wear a gown, but I don’t think she really has one.

“Do you really want to search a girl’s closet, Luhan? Just tell me what you want me to wear.” She said as I flustered and faced her.

“Gown.”

"No."

"I'm going with you."

"No."

"Why?"

"It's really a bother wearing those gowns! See? It reaches until your feet and it looks like a blanket covered around you. It's very hot in it and you have to drag it along: unless, you'll trip." She said as I laughed.

"J.....just try that on." I said and placed my hands on her shoulders. After processing for a while, I removed it in an instant and went outside to let her wear it.

After a while, the door creaked as I motioned her to keep quiet, since the members still are sleeping.

She is now wearing a blue small gown that flowed until her heels and reached until her elbows. I nodded in contentment as I asked her to spin around. Just as usual, she shook her head.

“Spin around or I’ll--”

“Alright.”

She followed my orders and swung herself around. I nodded and told her to wait, which she followed.

I brought myself to the parallel room, which happened to be mine, and searched for the tiny box by the desk. When I found it, I immediately went back and faced her.

Jjeolbae’s P.o.V.

I stared at him as he unravelled the content of the small box on his palm. He raised his finger and told me to turn around, which I followed. I waited for him to give another order, but I suddenly felt a cold string on the back of my neck.

When I took a better look, I saw that it was a necklace.

“It’s…yours.” He said as I stared at him.

“You’re sure?” I asked as he nodded.

“I…….was…uh…planning to give it to you when, you know, I confessed.” He said as I nodded and took his arm.

“Thank you, Luhan.” I said as he looked away and nodded.

“You should be going now.” He said as I nodded and looked at the time. Around twenty minutes have emerged since he dragged me here, and I have to hurry now.

I ran by the stairs when I felt someone stopped me. I suppose it was him again, and I was not mistaken.

“Let me join too.”

“But it’s going to be bothersome.”

“I should be by your side. A princess must be accompanied by her knight and shining armor.
