"You're a fucking moron for staying." Lenny took a drag.

My throat pained. "So?"

"Sure you want to stay with me?" He sounded empathetic.

"I.. Don't have a choice, do I?"

I felt eyes on me.

"No matter what happens things won't be the same", I etched out.

Exhale. "We have a two week break."

"Hm?"

"Something came up with T.K and he asked for us to not do anything."

Subtlety he said the next sentence. "If you want to go, now's the time."

In the way Lenny was talking it felt like he was almost pushing me to leave. This had me second guessing what I believed to be important.

What if I decide I don't want to stay?

What if this guy really is crazy.

Dei you're crazy, it's okay to lose a friend you can always make more.

There isn't friends at home.

Stop.

Run.

Stay.

Frustrated with my thoughts I replied, "How about I stay for the two weeks and if I want to i'll go home."

The look he gave made me think that he was going to say something but all that came out was "Okay."

Five minutes later.

I laid there for awhile watching him finishing his cigarette.

"I think I made a mistake."

My eyes looked over.

"Something like this isn't meant for me but for some reason I can't kill you. Do you know why?"

Schh, was all I could hear, I shook "no" and my head rubbed against the carpet.

"Well me neither, let's go. Get up."

Not understanding his words I saw him grab a box and open it.

He pulled out an electric razor then reached for the packed batteries and put them it.

"If you want to stay you're going to have to change."

"Come over here." He moved open his legs as a space was revealed for me to sit at.

Click. The end shaver part clicked on.

I laid for a second.

If I didn't do this I could risk getting caught and getting Lenny in trouble.

Then again if I don't Lenny will kick me out.

Slowly I tilted my head up and crawled toward him and sat between his legs facing away.

"Good choice, I guess" He said shittily with his cigarette in his mouth.

His hands ran behind my neck and pushed my head forward.

Ow.

The buzzing razor started.

If nows the time to say it, say it. I thought.

It vibrated on my neck as Lenny cut through the hair on my neck to middle of my head.

No going back now.

My head slowly became lighter and hair fell off my head.

I heard the plastic bag crinkle when Lenny grabbed a handful of hair and put it it inside.

Before I knew it we were done. My hair was gone and the buzzing stopped. Lenny's hand ran across my head and brushed off the remaining hair before he stood up and handed me the bag. "Clean the rest off the floor." He stepped over the two dividing seats and reached for something. I pulled my bruised hand over and collected the small hairs.A moment later Lennys voice started,
"Hello, how are you? ........No I don't today. .........Yeah I saw your text, we plan on going today. ....... . Uh oh yeah I have a friend I've been hanging out with in the area I live in. ..... No, it's no problem, .............We're on our way,.... okay bye."

By this time I already had collected the hair and was watching Lenny turn off his phone. "Right now we're going to be meeting people at the bar so I hope your ready. He got in the drivers seat and drove us into the city.

I sat in the back and thought a lot

We got into the parking lot of what looked like the crowded bar and parked just like he said.

He went in the back of the van, "God damn it you ruined my shirt." I leaned up and eyed the blood stain. Throwing off the shirt he pulled on a new one and put on the sweatshirt he was wearing earlier.

What does meeting people at the bar mean? Is there going to be other murderers?

The door opened in front of me. Lenny sat there waiting holding a hoodie.

I got out.

"Hold your arms up."

I did so and Lenny pulled the hoodie over me.

He didn't say anything, instead closed the door and began walking.

When we got to the front and inside the building Lenny looked around.

Spotting heads he started walking toward a big booth with three people.
