Kayani POV:

I stretched and rolled over to feel a empty space. The nap I took yesterday turned into me staying at Chris' house. I woke up to the smell of bacon and pancakes cooking. I smiled a little before grabbing my phone seeing a bunch of happy birthday text messages, missed calls and posts on social media. I also noticed tons of new followers. Janae had shouted me out on Instagram resulting in a lot of her followers, following me. I replied to all of my text messages and posts then stood to go wash my face. I noticed a bouquet of flowers and a note on the nightstand. The envelope said 'Read me!' in big red letters. I chuckled before picking it up and opening it.

'Good morning beautiful, and happy birthday Toot.'

I laughed and shook my head as I continued reading.

'If you're reading this, I'm in the kitchen making breakfast, probably waiting on you so hurry your little ass up.'

I stood up and ran to the bathroom to wash my face. Once I was done, I took my phone and the flowers with me into the kitchen. I walked in to see Chris rapping along to a Lud Foe song. I placed my flowers and phone down to hug him from behind.

"Good morning mister."

"Good morning shorty. Happy birthday." he turned around and gave me a small peck which gave me butterflies. I walked away to hide my red cheeks. "It smells good in here." I said, grabbing my flowers to place in some water.

"All for you, Kay Bear."

I blushed again feeling those same butterflies. "What's this for?" I sat on the tall chair that was at the counter and held up a flash drive.

He turned around to look at what I had in my hand. "Oh, thats, uh, nothing." he took it from my hand and put it in his pocket. That was pretty strange since he never hid anything from me but I shook it off. We ate and talked together and before I knew it, it was going on 1 pm.

"I gotta get going. Me and Sierra are going to get our nails and hair done, all that good stuff." I slipped on my shoes and stood by the door with my flowers in my hand.

"Well, have fun. I'll see you later, maybe." he said.

I hugged and thanked him once more before heading to my house. While on the way, I called Sierra.

"Hey!"

"Hey bitch! Happy mother freaking birthday, best friend!" she yelled into the phone. "Hold on." I heard some shuffling before a deep voice came through the speaker. "Hey, happy birthday Nani."
