Chapter 11

Kaitlyn's POV

I open my eyes and look around me I see John "Oh thank god you're ok" John exclaims kissing my forehead "What happened why am i in hospital?" I say with a 1000 questions on my mind. "It was Nicki you shouted at her she punched you square in the face then left before I got the chance to deal with her" he replies softly caressing my hand. "Can I have a glass of water?" I say my head is killing me "course he smiles helping me sit up and passes me a glass of water. AJ bursts through the door "Where is the dirty slut!!" She screams "hey hey chill Kaitlyn's head is killing violence is not the answer" John says putting one of hands on her shoulder. "Sorry I'm sorry but Kaitlyn has deserved none of this come here" AJ whispers pulling me into a hug "Thank you for coming to see if I was ok" I say squeezing her hand and smiling. "No problem babe I will always have your back I have to get back to work so I will call over later" She replies. "Ok bye AJ love you thanks for checking up on me" I say watching her leave. "So the doctor said you can go home tonight I have spoke to your mum and she is away to see your grandpa she sends her love I don't want you staying on your own!" John says seriously "I suppose..I could find a friend to stay with" I say stressed "You could stay with me If Nicki comes back I can always just shoot her" he says laughing. "I would gladly shoot her in the face" I say annoyed I will not be accepting her apology next time I see her she better have back up. "So is that agreed your staying with me" John says smiling nudging me slightly winking "ok ok Jesus just don't wink your face is horrid when you do it" I say screwing up my nose at him. "You're still beautiful you know" Phil says unexpectedly from behind John. "Hey Phil how are you?" I say he kisses my cheeks "I am good babe just really tired and sore head" I reply he hands me flowers. " i was hoping we could talk" he says signalling John to leave.

John glances over at me and I nod my head and he leaves "2 minutes" he says eyeing up Phil. "Ugh he's a jerk anyway I wanted to see if your ok and if you wanna go for a coffee sometime during the week" he replies smiling cutely "yeah sounds great how have you been?" I say smiling up at him. "Yeah apart from worrying about you fine I suppose" he replies grinning. "Good good" John enters the room and asks of me or Phil if we want a beverage "no I was just leaving I will text you later kat" Phil sighs hugging me "yeah bye Hun" I say waving him goodbye. "So you and Phil huh?" John says rolling his eyes "No John" I say with no emotion. "Oh by the way are you pressing charges against Nicki or are you dropping it?" He says stroking my hair. "I dunno think I will she was angry I went to far John but I will never forgive her or be friends with her" I say now holding his hand.

"Hello I don't mean to interrupt but Good news you can go home now do you have a place to go?" The nurse says smiling at me her golden brown eyes shimmering. "Yes I do thank you so much" I say as she leaves. "Ok I will let you get dressed then we can go." John says smiling patting my shoulder then leaving I get up from the bed my head is banging I take my clothes hanging from a near by chair and taking my hospital gown off and sigh placing my blue vest over my bra and putting my blue chinos on then placing my leather jacket over my shirt I call on John and he enters "oh Kat your head is all bruised" he says kissing it. "Lets just go home" I say smiling lightly.

John's House

He helps me into the house even though I don't need it carrying two bags full of my clothes. My phone rings "Hey babe I am at work how are you?" AJ whispers softly through the phone "I'm staying at John's AJ I will be fine I better go I will text you later" I say sighing "Bye love you" she replies then hangs up. "So Kat what do you want to do today?" John says sitting beside me on the sofa. "Well I suppose we could go out for dinner tonight" I say staring him in the eyes "yeah let's go to Mario's that nice place uptown" he replies "Yeah sounds good" I say now making a cup of tea. "You want one" I say pointing at the kettle "could I have a strong coffee?" John replies switching the TV on. "Yep no problemo so what's on anything good?" I say sighing and bringing over his drink. "No TV is pants" John says switching the television off.

John's POV

Here I am sitting with the most beautiful girls in the world and I can't think of a thing to say "So what are you going to do work wise?" I say hoping she is not thinking about moving away "Well to be honest I haven't a clue anymore I might just look around locally" she says sighing "mm I heard the cinema had a space maybe you could call up and see what you can do?" I reply handing her the leaflet with the number. "Yeah I will do that now cause I need something" she smirks typing the number into her phone. "Hello My name is Kaitlyn Delaney I would like to find out more about the job?" She says boldly but nervously "Mm yeah ok will see you soon" she squeals then hanging up. "They want me to come up ASAP" Kat replies smiling "I can take you now?" I say excited for her. "Really ok?" she replies smiling I pick up my keys and walk out to the car Kaitlyn walking behind me.

At the Cinema

I am excited for Kaitlyn we walk up the hallway and reach the ticket stand "Um hello I am here to talk to Katie violet about the job?" Kaitlyn says nervously "right through the hunger don't look so nervous" the woman replies she looks mid 40s "Ok babe I will stand out here good luck!" I say kissing her forehead. 

15 minutes later

"Ok thanks see ya" Kaitlyn says smiling at the lady "I got the job I start next Monday so happy" She squeals hugging me we walk out to the car ready to go for dinner I pick up a sticky note on my car window

I freeze on the spot Kaitlyn takes the note out my hand and bursts into tears It's time to take action.
