Chapter 12

Kaitlyn's POV

The rain beats down on me and John I cry he wraps his arms around me "what will we do" I say sobbing "Lets take it to the police come on" John says him helping me into the car clenching onto the note for dear life. "Hey it's gonna be ok I promise" John replies taking my face in his hands and smiles.

At the Police Station

"Hello can I assist you?" A short woman with blonde long hair exclaims behind us. "Yes my friend Kaitlyn here is quite traumatised we were just leaving the movies and this note was taped to my car window and we are both pretty shooken up" John explains the situation to the police officer "alright you two follow me" the lady replies in her rough New York accent. "Right please take a seat" she says smiling taking a pen out her pocket and looking through a folder. "Could you write down what happened and I will report this for you do you have somewhere safe to stay for the time being" her big brown eyes soften. John takes the piece of paper from her and writes down what happened "Yeah I can sort something" I say smiling at John "do you know who could want to hurt you?" She replies boldly. "Yeah I have a person in mind John's ex Nicki she cheated on him and well she still loves him and I was actually here a few days ago" I say raising an eyebrow "yeah I see well we will pay her a visit" the police woman smirks "well we will be on our way thank you what's your name?" John says smiling handing over the paper "PC James" she replies

At Mario's

I stare at John he looks amazing I really love him I have completely fallen for him "So do you like your fish" John says smiling "yes how's your stake it looks quite fatty" I say biting my lip "Yeah it's amazing hope you don't find me appalling" John says "never" I say smiling he is so handsome how do I tell him how I feel "So how are you feeling?" I ask nervously "Honestly struggling to keep it together but having you around just gives me strength" John replies smirking. "Aww haha I am sure you would do fine this all happened because of me" I say angrily "hey listen I care about you a lot I hope you haven't forgotten the camping trip" he whispers in my ear making the hairs on my neck stiffen. his warm breath in my ear my body just glows at the feel of it "So did you hear about the party on Friday Kelly from work is having a beach party Kelly said you should go along it would be good for you" John says smiling "Yeah ok" my phone vibrates so I pick it up and read the message

'Hey you text me back I miss you :) xo"

AJ texts I miss her to so i decide to call her "HEYYY I miss you!" I shout in despair "i miss you to can't wait to see you at the beach party btw you have to bring a swim suit" She giggles down the phone "Babe I better go I am supposed to be working love ya" and with that AJ hangs up oh god I love that girl "Lets go Home" John sighs smiling and handing over the money to the waiter.

John's House

I check my Facebook just a few messages from friends who are worried I explain what's going on. "Phil is at the door for you" John walks in sighing "aw really ok" I say walking over to the door "Hey ain't seen you in age what's up" I say nervously. "Thought I would come round and see you and make sure your ok I am just stopping by but are you going to Kelly's beach party on friday" Phil says smiling "yeah I think so I will see you there" I say he pulls me into a hug "See ya Phil" I say watching him drive away. "Ugh what did he want" John says jealously "Just seeing how I was the beach party is tomorrow ain't it?" I say sighing looking through my phone "Yeah.." He replies sighing "Hey what's up" I say putting my hand on his shoulder "its just I don't like that guy" John replies.

Friday Afternoon

I wrap Kelly's present that I bought her and put the bottle of wine in a bag "Oh my god John you look amazing!" I say looking over at him with a blue shirt tucked in and black suite pants "Wow I have never seen you in a dress before Kat have you got your swimsuit "Yeah I bought a new one yesterday I have put it in my handbag haha" I reply laughing "Lets Go Kaitlyn or we will be late" John says picking up the car keys and leaving I pick up my bags and leave John locks the door then we head to the car.

At The Beach Party

"Hey guys thanks for coming OMG Kat I ain't seen you in ages girl we need a catch up" Kelly says smiling she is stunning "Babe your da bomb seriously" I say laughing. "Babe i have never seen you in a dress your a beaut" she says laughing and hugging me. "Here's a gift it's nothing really but I thought I should" I say smiling at her "thanks babe have a good time I will come see you in awhile" Kelly says Kissing my cheek. "So do you want a drink" John says smiling pointing at the beer "Mm ok" I say not really wanting to get drunk. John passes me a bottle and smiles we walk and then sit on a rock I love this man "HEY BABY" AJ says running upto me and hugging me "Heyy Hun how are you" I say smiling "Good good" I look out the corner of my eye and see Nicki with Brie and Layla "Ugh there here" I say nervously "Yeah just ignore them" AJ says smiling "Um I am gonna go and catch up with a few friends see you later" John says awkwardly. "Oh ok bye" I say watching him walk up the beach "That was awkward" AJ says scrunching her face up. I look over at Nicki who is now whispering in Layla's ear and laughing I turn back around and sigh. Me and AJ start to let loose and and dance and drink a bit more "This party is awesome" I say tipsy

"I am gonna go and find John and tell him I love him" I say walking through the crowd and looking around. I walk around the Beach I walk round the rocks and there snogging is John and Nicki I run back to the main part how could he after everything fat sack of shit "Hey easy easy you ok Kat" a Phil says steadying me "No..yes I dunno" I say crying. "Ok come back to mine let's get you cleaned up" He replies maybe Phil is better than John but all I know is he is back there snogging Barbie.
