Caroline stood, feeling as if her heart was going to suddenly burst any second.

"Why are you doing this? Why are you trying to fight?" she yelled at Klaus who stood, fists clenched, and a scowl on his face.

"I'm not doing this on purpose! Is that what you think? You think that I want to fight? Bullshit! You try to start fights with me all the time, Caroline!" he argued back, angrily.

This argument had been going on for a good hour now, and both of them were starting to reach their ends.

"Don't blame me for this, Klaus! You know damn well this whole fight was due to your stupid jealousy!" she replied, her voice raising.

"It's not jealousy when I clearly saw you flirting with another guy! You weren't even trying to hide it!" his voice was shaky, and threatened to break at any moment.

"I wasn't flirting with him, what don't you get?!" she screamed, inching towards him. He stood taller.

"He offered you a drink, to which you took, and you started joking and laughing with him! I can bet you anything it was probably about me, how worthless or stupid I am, huh?!" Klaus yelled, his voice breaking with every word.

Tears stung his eyes, but he pushed them away. He didn't want to cry.

"Why would you think that, Klaus? I would never say anything like that! We were just making small talk! He tried to hit on me and I told him I had a boyfriend, and he laughed at himself! We weren't making fun of you!" she argued, shaking her head in disbelief.

Klaus didn't want to forgive her. He wanted to continue fighting. He didn't believe her, his mind wouldn't let him. Don't believe her, she's just lying to you. Obviously they were talking about you. Who wouldn't? You're pathetic.

"You're lying. I know you were talking about me, and I know you were flirting with him! You just want to leave me like everyone else in this world," he finally breaks down, tears rolling down his cheeks.

Caroline stood, taken aback from her boyfriend's sudden emotional breakdown. She didn't care that just a minute ago they were screaming their lungs off, all that mattered was the fact Klaus was clearly hurt. He rarely cried, so to show such vulnerability around her, she knew something was seriously wrong.

"Hey, hey- look at me," she ordered her boyfriend, and he shook his head, his glossy eyes still facing the ground.

"Klaus, please," Caroline begged.

Finally, his blue eyes made their way to hers.

"I'm never going to leave you, Klaus. Okay? No matter what happens, I will always be by your side. I'm not going anywhere," she explained, cupping his face in her hands.

He frowned, the tears still rolling. Caroline took it upon herself to pull him into a hug, his face resting on her shoulder.

"I'm sorry if I made you feel badly tonight. I swear, I didn't mean to," she apologized. He shook his head, standing up and wiping his eyes rid of tears.

"It's not your fault. I was just jealous. I thought you didn't want to be with me anymore..." he pouted. She kissed his nose, and then his lips.

"I'll always want you Klaus. No one else. Just you."
