Caroline was the first to wake up this morning. Klaus was usually more of a heavy sleeper, and preferred sleeping in.
The rain poured down against their window, the soft sound relaxing Caroline as her eyes fluttered open.
"Morning," she smiled, kissing her boyfriend's soft lips as her arms wrapped around him from behind. He hummed in response.
"Mhm," he mumbled and pressed a kiss to her head before falling back asleep.
"We should get up," she sighed, but made no effort to take her own advice, and got comfortable again. Mornings like this were their favorites. It was their time to simply lay together, cuddling, relaxing, with no care in the world.
Her head rested on Klaus's shoulder as she gently pressed a kiss to his neck, leaning back against the pillow and shutting her eyes as the couple fell back into complete relaxation, never letting each other go.
