Amirah came out the bathroom fully showered. She put on a simple dress and laid flat on her back with her folded hands supporting her head.

What next? She'd thought of that countless times. She's now a graduate, and she's certain her parent will put eyes on her thereon to bring someone home that she's planning to marry.

Marriage isn't in her stow of important things now. When she couldn't even figure out the type of wheel her life is rolling on now, how could she even talk of marriage. To be sincere, her life is just unpredictable that even she the character in it couldn't say what she wanted or what's going on in her life. She knows she despise the word love, that's why she never give heed to anyone that asked her out on a relationship.

'The future will determine anyway', she made the settling demeanor with her sanity and conformed wholly to the overwhelming force of complacency dancing in her mind. With that, she ascertained with pretentious certainty that life in whole is just a heap of trials and struggle to survive.

Tired of flexing the equivocal horizon of life, she got up instantly and walked over to the television stand. She put on the TV, then went back to her bed and fell flat again.

She stared at the television unblinkingly, they were viewing a program on cooking competition.

Amirah slowly unleashed her hands and rested her right hand on her forehead.

"Amirah are you in?" Kabir said as he slightly pushed open the door, wild in animation.

Kabir entered into the room twisting his body in a dancing composure while humming audibly in high spirit.

"Hey beb!" kabir said and incautiously flopped on the bed close to Amirah.

Kabir is Amirah's immediate younger brother.

"Will you stop calling me beb for merciful sake. I'm four years older than you." she explicitly asserted, her voice dotted with displeasure. If there's one thing she hated is being scornfully treated by her younger ones, but kabir, she can condone his act because he's like her friend in the house.

"Sorry sis, today is not a day to be angry, I'm sorry if I'd specked your mood with my act. You know I'm a big boy today, 18........" he hollered out loudly, hummingly.

"Wow, days seems to glide amazingly fast. Is as if is just yesterday ummu gave birth to you."

"Hey, where were you then!" kabir sneered. "Is just four years interval don't forget."

"Yeah four good years, 365 days times four," she rose sluggishly, stretched and yawned silently. "learn to respect me you peevish cart." she playfully poked at his head.

"Enough amusement today!" kabir exclaimed with a smile.

"Yeah amusement, but let it not exceed the limit, don't go clubbing, I'm warning you now to be careful." she playfully pointed her index finger at him.

"You're misunderstanding me, why shouldn't I have fun. I know what I'm doing I guess. Pretty pretty much."

"I'm not saying you shouldn't have fun, what I'm saying is that you should put a limit to it dear brother. You like too much fun and I don't trust those hunkies you move around with. They have nothing reeling in their small brain except club and girls."

"Going out with them doesn't mean I'll do what they do, is just to have a little fun without sinning. You do have fun too right?" kabir asked and stared at her as his eyes winked unnoticeably.

"Yeah I do have fun, I'm not trying to act perfective, but I know my limit. I don't care about what you do simply because I believe everything will go upright with you as you are incentive enough to perceive the right aroma of life-danger and amusement."
